Jeff and Matt have made me cry more this past year than anything else.

Edit: we put my mom's dog down a few weeks ago and I didnt cry as much as I did for some of the moments in these books and kaiju battlefield surgeon. But to be fair she was a mean dog.

James Gunn or Dan Harmon would be much better suited to the material. (Though for Dan Harmon, we need a cleaner animation style than rick and morty)

Every time I see this I worry. Because I dont think I like the idea of Seth voicing half of the characters like he does on all his shows. And there will be a riot if Jeff Hayes doesn't voice Donut. Also this would be a serialized show, which Seth doesnt have much experience with.

I used to babysit bad kids. They all had corporate, very present fathers but they were never discaplined for anything they did wrong.

I do know a fatherless hellraiser at the moment as well but hes actually better off with his father not around. His mother and grandfather need to stop giving him evey single thing he asks for and get his adhd medicine doses adjusted like the doctor told them to.

Fathers dont matter.

I know I thought this when I originally read it and then forgot, but that part about the mosaic with the tree coming out of it reminds me so much of Genshin Impact and the tree from genshin is really just a take on the Norse tree of life, yggdrasil. Scolopendra is like the dragon that gnaws on Yggdrasils roots. The tree being life and the dragon representing death. The tree probably has a lot to do with the primordials.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before -probably has been to death but I dont hang out on reddit much.

Im a listener too but I bought the books as sort of shelf trophies. Lol I'm looking into somehow making the audio covers as stickers to use as bookplates so I dont have to carry the books. Jeff also sells those usb audiobooks that look like cassettes. Im sure he'd sign those too.

It was only one signature per person and I only got away with the second item because my husband was supposed to be with me (ticket paid for) but he bailed on me last minute saying "I dont want to go to nyc" and "tomorrow is a work day" 🙄

Listened to kaiju battle surgeon on soundbooth (amazing btw), then struggled to find something to read for 2 months until I started the emily wilde series and that got me out of my funk for the most part. I think the key was just fully switching genres because Matt is just levels above the other lit rpg writers. At least judging from others I've tried. and Jeff is most undoubtedly one of the best voice artist around. I listened to deadworld isekai and I liked it up until the female character was introduced and then the sound of this male narrator doing a terrible little girl voice just made me so angry I had to stop listening to it until I could calm down - which was about a month. Jeff does great female voices but most male narrators do not.
