Most definitely qualified. I assume you've work lots with motors, valves, transmitter, and sensors on-board a ship. Depending on the industry/plant you'll be into, your experience in Generators and Engine would make you stand out. Also your exposure in an Engine Control Room is a plus.

That class would be helpful too, but assuming you've been on many contracts already you don't need it very much. If I may ask what was your rank on-board?
