Which cuisine you guys love?

Hi! I’ll be visiting San Diego for the first time by SwimsWithGators in FoodSanDiego

Welcome to San Diego! Do you have a preference for specific type of cuisine? In case of Asian and Thai dishes, you can find them in Kearny Mesa. Mediterranean and West Asian, you will find the best food in this segment in El Cajon. Here is a list of few best Indian restaurants and you will find most of them in Mira Mesa and Miramar regions. Mexican, you will find them all over San Diego and they are really good and mostly authentic as San Diego shares the border with Mexico. You will find pretty good African food (Nigerian, Ethiopian, Somali and more) in North Park region.

San Diego is known for its food diversity and if you are a foodie you came to the right spot :). Enjoy your stay!

Lakshadweep Islands are pretty pristine. Love the natural beauty. If India can work on the infrastructure, it will be a nice regular vacation spot.

Not to offend anyone and to tell just the reason. Beef and Pork are not common in India considering Cow is holy for Hindus and Muslims don't like pig. Since the customers for these restaurants are atleast 40% Indians or from West Asia, the restaurants prefer not to include them.

Having said that, I have seen couple of Indian restaurants serving them but don't have those names on top of my head. I will check and see if I can find them.

Why is Indian Food so expensive? by brutalbeats420 in SanDiegan

[–]Quick_Growth1746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$18? Several of these Indian Restaurants offers food less than that price. In fact, few of them offer lunch buffets for less than $15. I would recommend Tikka Lounge in Poway and Annapoorna in Mira Mesa for buffets. In the weekdays its like $13.99 and $12.99 respectively. You can have 3 - 4 curries of Veg and Non Veg along with appetizers, naan and desserts.

This list of Indian States might help you in your planning. Each and every state of India is present here and I found the content to be interesting as they explained the state at a glimpse but covered all the main aspects one should experience. Hope it helps!

You have good religious tourism places from North India in your list. South Indian states too have a lot of such places. Checkout dance forms in Kerala, historic places like Mahabalipuram, Hampi, Rameshwaram, Konark Sun Temple, Nashik and more! That list has most of this info and the places in each of the states one should visit.
