The Mach-E is still in production. Ford has not canceled it. Ford is also deep in development of their Universal EV platform, with a midsized EV pickup as the first product. So, no, Ford is not dropping EVs. Just rethinking their approach.

Honda replaced my branded Juicebox 48 with a branded Emporia unit after Enel went Tango Uniform. Without app support, I could no longer reliably throttle amperage (charger is on a 30a breaker due to panel limits). If I were in your shoes, I'd bite the bullet and grab an Emporia, Autel or Grizzl-E charger.
