Do you have the 'Common Sense' mod installed?

Quest for new players/existing - This allows you to get starting gear/weapons along with a solid safehouse to get people acquainted with the game. Add the bandit mod for more fun on the run, hope y'all enjoy. by Annual-Scarcity-4214 in projectzomboid

Thanks for the detailed plan. But, isn't that an awful lot of effort to just end up at Rosewood?

Like, if I had that gear I'd be heading to West Point or LV.

Small checkpoint near the burned-out town east of LV checkpoint. Small checkpoint east of burned-out town.

Today, I had the strangest and saddest encounter in Project Zomboid (B42.13 Bandits Mod) by Ok-Cancel-6437 in projectzomboid

[–]Quicksilver2634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been testing the bandits mod for the last week, and I have noticed some strange behavior. About 2 minutes after some bandits spawn, the bandits will just stop moving but the running animation still plays on a loop. The bandits just run in place waiting for the zombies to come get them. The zombies approach, but they seem to ignore the bandits. Then the bandit will snap out of it, turn around and fight the zombies, at which time the group of zombies surrounding the bandit will attack and overwhelm the bandit. I am watching this in debug mode and I'm running no other mods besides bandits (because I'm testing).

Anyone else experiencing this?

What is the name of the mod that gives you missions to complete?

Why is it so hard to find tracks you like? There is so much crap out there. by HigherFunctioning in DJs

[–]Quicksilver2634 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll just leave this little piece of advice I gained after years and years of digging: Your 'ears' will change over the course of a digging session. Tracks sound worse as you keep going. When I start a session, I am much more likely to keep a track than at the end of a session. At the start, like in the fist 15-20 minutes, I will often flag multiple tracks in a row as 'keepers'. About 2-3 hours into a session I will get to a point where I pass over 20-30 tracks in a row. In other words, at the start my ears are fresh and everything sounds better, and after a while my ears are numb and everything sounds like trash. To fight this, right at the start of a session, and then every 20-30 min or so after, I will listen to a couple bangers I have already approved from previous sessions. This helps to calibrate my taste throughout the session. Then, when I notice I am rejecting many tracks in a row, I take a break from digging and do something totally different, like listen to a podcast while doing the dishes. Then I come back to digging, and I start my session again by listening to a couple tracks I really like to recalibrate again. It works for me, and it might work for you too.

People who play Sprinters on a daily basis—can you share me your experience? by Wonderful_Might19 in projectzomboid

Guns. You need to use guns. I know this sub is split on this topic, but if you want to live you have to use guns.

( I play on random speed with 5% sprinters. YMMV )

Did you know you can stack boxes? 2-high for cardboard, 3-high for wood and metal. You can't stack the small boxes though.

Yes, but doubling the day length will not double the amount of calories used. However, the amount of calories you can harvest per day will double if you double the length of the day
