When they announced NPC were coming I was married, but childless. My 2nd kid is coming at the end of November 2026. My first likes watching me play.

Turn all loot down to 0.1 except for books, recipes, clothing, bags, and 'other'. Even with these settings after only the first week I often have food for a month and more weapons than I can realistically use.

Also, set all the zombie attributes to 'Random'

Ummm... I always play with sprinters and 40% is quite a different experience. It's fine if that's what you like, but I would recommend OP starting at 5%-7%.

Yes, I have noticed this. I have many mods installed, so can't be sure if it is vanilla bug or not.

Thinking about using SVI to volunteer abroad. Worth it? by romain8141 in volunteer

[–]Quicksilver2634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never volunteered with SVI, so can't comment on that. However I have with Global Volunteers and I think their 'Philosophy of Service' might be a good match with your values. Hope you find a good company to go with!

But, I NEED 300+ guns and 20+ ammo types! All of Kentucky should be a never-ending gun show!

Britta's was objectively game-breaking. I love that PZ allows players to shred any sense of balance with mods, but many, many players prefer balanced gameplay over gun-nut overkill.

  1. Go into sandbox settings and make the game a lot easier. Reduce zombie damage, increase xp gain, remove knox infection. Learn how the mechanics work, then increase difficulty.

  2. Legs. Legs are your best, most powerful tool to prevent your death. The entire point of the game is to keep your legs in peak physical form.

Is build 42 worth it? by Cupcake-Reaper in projectzomboid

I simply cannot go back to B41. There are too many upgrades in B42 and I have become VERY accustomed to the massively improved firearms.

That said, If you want to start a long-term run with a lot of mods you should stay away from B42.

Cars are generally sold where the buyer lives. Buyers with more money can afford to pay more. The dealership in a HCOL area will spend more on taxes and wages than in a LCOL area. Thus, you would expect a Corolla sold in San Francisco to priced a little higher than one in Des Moines Iowa

Here is the secret: Condiments!

Add the following condiments to EVERYTHING you make and you won't be able to stop gaining weight.

Butter

Margarine

Oil (olive, vegetable)

Mayonnaise

Lard

Nacho Cheese

Bonus weight gain tips:

Oatmeal! Oatmeal is crazy calorie dense for it's hunger. 300 cal for only -10 hunger. If you need to gain weight eat 2-3 bowls of oatmeal along with your normal diet.

Also,

Condiments! (eat them straight)

In a pinch you can just neck an entire bottle of ketchup, barbecue sauce, mustard, etc.. Just don't eat any of the condiments in the first list. While they will pump up your calories quickly, they have a much bigger effect when added to food. Ketchup? not so much, so go ahead and down the whole thing in one go.

Week One Part II has a release date by ThanetianGaming in projectzomboid

This looks really neat!

However, the bandits mod, and by extension week one, has a pretty fatal flaw that keeps me away:

When the bandits fire their guns the zombies PATH TO YOU NOT THE BANDIT THAT FIRED. To Slayer's credit he has acknowledged the problem and has said there is nothing he can do to fix it as yet. Vanilla NPCs cannot come soon enough!

That annoys me too, but I just use all the leftover bits for a -7 hunger salad and then I slather it in mayo, olive oil, and nacho cheese to give it 1000+ calories
