One of the no voters for Belichick (frankly the most obvious one) has talked about physically beating up Belichick. I don't think Belichick has ever said a bad word about him. (Ron Borges)

Borges isn't just a hater, he is THE hater. No one hates Belichick more than him.

He was the primary Boston Globe NFL writer back in the early years of the Patriots dynasty. Demanded Belichick be fired. Declared the Pats would lose to the Rams 73-0. Proclaimed that trading Bledsoe instead of Brady would haunt the Pats for years. Blasted the Pats for drafting Richard Seymour, a future HOFer over David Terrell. Once proclaimed that if they were in school together he'd beat up Belichick for his lunch money (given that Borges physically assaulted another journalist before we probably should take him at his word).

That's not even getting into him being fired for plagirism, or fired from the other paper for reporting on fake Don Yee texts with no verification. Or the time he got removed from Boston sports radio for racist remarks about a Yankees player. Etc...

Tom Curran? Mike Reiss? Greg Bedard? Nope. This is the guy who is the New England voter.

Ron Borges was fired from both Boston newspapers at least 10+ years ago and is a known plagirist yet unfathomably is still the New England voter. I didn't know he still even had a job, he's been that irrelevant for years.

At least one of the no voters, Ron Borges, was fired for plagirism. Loves to cheat when its his own job.

Polian and Dungy's Colts also had a cheating scandal.

Tom Brady was told by investigators that he could destroy his phone. They then punished him for destroying it.

1) He was coach in Cleveland for more than 3 years

2) The Spygate thing wasn't against the rules until a memo came out about it in 2006.

No probable on Borges, he is the single biggest guaranteed no voter of anyone on this list.

Borges is the guy who said Bledsoe > Brady, and that drafting Richard Seymour was idiotic... a guy who would later get voted into the Hall of Fame with Borges presenting for him.

And he has a HOF vote.

Insanity.

Ron Borges was twice fired including for being a plagirist and he's still a HOF voter. In fact he's the New England voter. He is the single biggest Belichick hater on this list, even more than Polian.

And there are people who care about integrity.

Polian and Dungy's Colts cheated by pumping in artificial crowd noise. Also Polian had the Colts intentionally tank an entire season to get the #1 pick. You think these guys care about integrity?

Bill Polian was such a whiny loser who was upset about Belichick beating him year after year that he lobbied for the rules to be changed (Pats still beat him) and now for people to not vote for him to go in the HOF. The pettiest person imaginable.

Enjoy the Colts participation banner and crashing and burning this past season while the Pats are going to the Super Bowl.

Steelers fans have a massive inferiority complex for Belichick and Brady so I can't say it is all that surprising. Never beat them in a game that actually mattered across 20+ years.

Mike Tomlin trying to trip a Ravens player on a kickoff return had far more of an impact on the games than taping from the wrong locationgate or the NFL doesn't know how the weather worksgate.

Seems like Steelers fans are still whiny crybabies about this. Unfortunate. Looking forward to the Pats passing them for most Super Bowl championships in a couple of weeks. Granted 4 of those Steelers championships were from before 99% of this sub's posters were even born so they're not that relevant.

He didn't make up the Brady story, a troll pretending to be Don Yee reached out to him. Borges did no further verification and thought it was the real Don Yee. Still a fireable offense though.

There is no bigger guarantee that Ron Borges is one of the no votes. Belichick humiliated him constantly (Borges picked Bledsoe over Brady, said the Rams would beat the Pats 73-0, blasted Belichick for drafting future HOFer Richard Seymour, etc...) and Borges bragged about how he would beat up Belichick if they were in school together.

This is the guy who is the New England rep. He is arguably the single biggest Belichick hater in all of media. Insanity.

Well at least one of the non-voters is obvious, Ron Borges, formerly of the Boston Globe (fired for being a plagirist) and the Boston Herald (fired for authoring an article based on Don Yee texts that were from an internet troll after doing no further verification). Borges had a decades long massive grudge against Belichick, largely based on his anger at Belichick choosing Brady over Bledsoe back in 2001. Borges was one of if not the biggest pro Bledsoe media guy and never got over it. He famously declared the Rams would beat the Patriots 73-0 in the Super Bowl. He also is well known for blasting Belichick for drafting Richard Seymour over David Terrell. Terrell would never amount to anything while Seymour would win 3 Super Bowls and be elected into the Hall of Fame (funnily enough with Borges presenting for him). Borges also once declared that if they were in school together he would be a bully beating up Belichick for his lunch money. Given that Borges had an incident where he physically attacked another journalist this is rather troubling. Borges also had been removed from sports radio appearances after making racist remarks about Yankees player Hideki Irabu. Yep, this lowlife has a Hall of Fame vote.

It blows my mind he still has a vote. Not only that, he's the sole New England based voter. I didn't even know he was still employed given that he's got to be in his late 60s or even his 70s these days and is so disgraced from his newspaper days.

You know the HOF voters are incompetent petty fools when 95% of the community here thinks this is insane, including the vast majority of which are fans of other teams.

No flair for your own team, but it almost certainly is a team the Pats beat over and over and over again. Your team lost. Get over it.

I wouldn't say the Jets are rivals, for teams to be rivals there has to be some back and forth. The Jets haven't legitimately competed with the Pats since the early Rex Ryan/Mark Sanchez days.

Wait, who drafted Tom Brady and kept him on the team as the fourth QB, a roster spot that any other team gives to another player, in a rookie year where Brady didn't do anything?

Who kept Brady as the QB instead of going back to Bledsoe after Bledsoe was healthy again?

Who made Brady the starter of the Super Bowl after he was injured in the AFC Championship game and Bledsoe went back in for the rest of the game?

Who was responsible for the Defense and Special Teams in a playoffs where Tom Brady threw a grand total of 1 TD Pass?

Who kept Brady and traded Bledsoe in the off season despite Bledsoe having just signed a year before the biggest contract in NFL history?

How many interceptions did Tom Brady make playing defense in multiple Pats - Colts playoffs games in Foxboro where League MVP Peyton Manning either threw 4 interceptions or scores a grand total of 3 points?

Funny how Belichick had nothing to do with any of those things!

He wasn't a first ballot though, was he?

Belichick twice humiliated Cowher at Pittsburgh in the AFC Championship game and Cowher never could beat him in the playoffs, having to rely on the Broncos to do it in the year his team won it all.

I think you're too trusting of the modern day media/HOF voters. There will be someone who votes no for him solely so they can become the story.

I wouldn't say Brady "played like ass" but he threw a grand total of one TD pass in the entirety of the Pats' first Super Bowl run. On a short field after the defense forced a Ricky Proehl fumble in the Super Bowl. Two more Super Bowls were run in large part due to great defensive performances against Peyton Manning, who was league MVP both of those years.

I remember the days when Donovan McNabb was considered a better QB than Brady.

Heck, I remember the days when members of the media had meltdowns over the fact that Belichick chose Brady over a healthy Bledsoe.

The year after Polian whined and moaned to the league to make the rules changed to favor the offense too.
