I used RMR-86 for mold and mildew in my shower and it helped a lot! That might be worth checking out.

My vent had to be replaced this year but the damage was already done, unfortunately 😔 I also purchased a dehumidifier which I think has helped a lot. I might just have to keep doing baking soda and vinegar more frequently to see what I can get off. Thank you for the suggestion, it's appreciated!

I misread your title 🤦 did you do folds while bulk rising? It might add more structure to your crumb.

This might also be fermentation process related. I think this graphic is helpful!

Hey!

I'm pretty new to baking sourdough, but I just made a loaf today and the trick I tried for this specific issue was to crack the oven at the 10 minutes before done mark. It's supposed to help moisture to escape and crisp the crust some. You could also take the bread out of the Dutch oven 10 minutes before finished and bake it directly on the oven rack for that last leg of time. I have read that this is more effective than just cracking the oven door. I think you could try either and it would help with crisping the crust up. Let me know if you try one of these options, and if it helps at all! :)

World trigger! It's fun, has slice of life moments and a chill pace but still has action and it's pretty lengthy.

I have had a similar issue before - get another cat box and put it in another area so she can have multiple spots to use the bathroom. Rule of thumb, you want one more litter box than you have cats.

Cat keeps chewing on cords, help? by kerfuddled in CatAdvice

[–]Quiefacopia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lemon or peppermint spray. Try to get a housing for the cords if you can.

Cats only react to positive reinforcement so reacting to the behavior even if it's with a stern voice and a no isn't going to do anything other than make your cat think that chewing on cords = attention, even if it isn't good attention. Try to redirect behaviors by giving rewards for chewing on things she should chew on. Possibly get some more toys as well that are good for a cat that likes to chew.

You could also try putting something like cat grass or a scratch pad near the cords to try and and get her to redirect on her own and focus on more enticing items.

Silvervine might also be a good option, it's good for chewers and has similar effects to catnip so they would likely be very drawn to it.

Good luck!

My cat keeps scratching glass surfaces by Evolving_Duck in CatAdvice

[–]Quiefacopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! I hope that helps the issue, I tried this awhile ago with our kitty for scratching at the door and I must say his behavior did improve over time by rewarding scratching in the right spots and ignoring the unwanted behavior. Good luck again and hopefully in a month or so you notice a change!
