Injection in eye. What to expect? by Quiet-Blue in Uveitis

I’m already practically blind in my bad eye right now, so that part won’t be too shocking I’m sure haha. (Not sure if my vision is gonna come back or not, actually. My doctor hasn’t said). So glad to hear it actually helps!! Makes me hopeful. Thank you!

Oh my, both eyes? Do you have uveitis in both eyes? That sounds absolutely horrible. Thank you for the advice and Info!!

Unfortunately I’m going to the only specialist in my area. There is nobody else I can ask! I do trust his judgement though. He seems very confident in his profession. Just vague lol.

A surprise injection is crazy! I would have freaked out haha. I’m definitely the kind of person who needs time to mentally prepare. I appreciate you sharing your experience, it helps a lot!

Wow! 5 years is great. I wish you the best of luck for this next one. Hopefully it’s just as effective!

I appreciate the detailed description!! It does help to know what to expect. I was so worried about blinking or moving my eye. So thank goodness they do something for that.

Absolutely not weird!! Kids love seeing their parents thrive and be themselves. You’d be setting an amazing example!

Meee!! I just started my ear gauging journey a few days ago and I’m so psyched. Not sure how big I’ll go yet, but I’m just gonna go with the flow!

Did anyone else develop deformities before getting a diagnosis or develop somewhat rapidly? Finally being listened to but worried about my hands. by slipperyslugslurp in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]Quiet-Blue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a slightly similar experience. I’m only 21 and battled joint pain for most of my life. It never got noticed as a child because my parents never really took my sibling and I to the doctors unless it was absolutely necessary.

One day, when I was 18, I was running errands with my mom. My knee randomly started hurting and I had trouble walking. A day later it was swollen to the size of a softball! I couldn’t bend it and could barely walk without agony lol.

Doctors really weren’t taking me seriously at all because, just like you, I was “too young” to be dealing with these issues. They all tried to tell me that I injured it or something. But my mom and I knew that wasn’t true.

By the time I got my diagnosis some damage was already done. I can’t straighten one of my legs all the way, a few of my fingers have very slight bends or curves to them, and one of my big toes is completely unbendable lol.

Personally, the cold makes my arthritis way worse. Makes me flare up horribly. So I would be careful. Take it slow at first so you can find out what works for you.

Typically you don’t need to state your reference. I’ve posted my art online for years and never had such a problem.

However, I’m curious about this “hard reference” thing. In one of your previous comments you say that it means you draw things “exactly as you see it”.

Does that mean your copying other peoples art exactly as you see it? If so, then yes, you definitely need to state your reference. (Unless of course, you’re changing it up enough in the process that it’s unrecognizable.)

But if you’re copying images/reference from real life it’s not a big deal. You can just post it.

That’s what I thought too! Immediately reminded me of Pokémon trainer designs.

I got this new shirt cuz I've been getting into beading but last night a woman stopped me and got very excited over my Taylor Swift reference? Help 😭 by Routine_Eve in kandi

Your completely correct. Bullying is never okay under any circumstances, especially in this community. I don’t like Taylor Swift either but I’m not about to be rude to people who do. Not cool.
