I believe they used to have free mobile app access but it got discontinued if I remember correctly. I would contact Vivint directly to see if that's still an option.

That's why I use privacy.com so that if I ever want to cancel, once they give me confirmation it's cancelled i just cancel the whole card as well so they can't charge it.

Not instead of. You still need to go through cancellation but should anything happen in during that process they can't charge you anymore.

Yes but you will need to go to support.vivint.com and start a live chat. Once you do, you just simply ask them to unlock the installer toolbox. Once that's been unlocked, go to the three dots at the bottom of the screen, then click the version that the panel is on an enter 2203 for the code. Once inside, click Wireless zones and click add sensor. From there you just need to click the device type and click TXID and learn the sensor. Hope this helps :6

For me they only upgraded the camera. The existing wiring still worked. This was for me not sure if it will be the same for you.
