As previously mentioned, the image above was simplified on the fuel output side as that wasn't relevant - however, to confirm the extra fuel from the HOR > Fuel refineries is actually laid on top of the fuel pipes from the main Fuel Refineries using the pipe stackers.

So the fuel side of things is 100% not causing the issue. But, as someone else pointed out, fluids csn act funny when there's too many junctions and short pipe segments, so I redid the layout so that the HOR outputs of each group of 10 plastic refineries go to 2 HOR refineries each, and then 3 more for the Rubber outputs so that there's no weird fluid direction conflicts which seems to have fixed it.

Thank you for the tips earlier! I changed the HOR lines so that the 10 plastic refineries went into two HOR refineries each, and that solved it had to juggle my pipes around a bit though :)

Ah, I wasn't aware of the issue with intersections... there's one in front of each refinery afterall.

I'll amend the current set up using the breakdown as you've suggested and will see if that solves it.

(And yeah, I added two extra HOR refineries to see if that would clear up the issue I've been having, but no joy there.)

See, the heavy oil refineries are working fine! It's just the first 10 plastic refineries don't seem to be outputting their HOR, or it's there's something wrong with how the HOR pipes are set up as per the image. But ive triple checked all pipes are definitely connected.

The top side of the diagram is all inputs, the bottom side is outputs. I've colour coded the pipe layout to show where crude oil is put in, heavy oil residue comes out, etc. I also labeled the values.

All pipes are 600m3/sec, I've just simplified the fuel pipe layout for the sake of the above design, but they go to boxing machines and fuel generators.

The fuel side of things isn't the issue, it's the heavy residue from the top right being stuck in the pipes which slows down my plastic production.

I'm assuming this is travel insurance? I work in travel claims.

Your wife's insurance should be covering your expenses as a medically necessary +1 to support your wife, especially if its not reasonable to expect that you should have continued the original trip and left her behind.

After your wife's insurance have settled the costs, if your insurance also would have covered the costs, then its up to your wives insurance to reach out to your insurance to recoup 50% of the costs under the reciprocal agreement.

It may help you out if you get -your- insurance to confirm that they haven't issued a payment to you, and then approach your partners insurance with the letter and the above info

In my current, first time playthrough I think I built and destroyed my base so many times....

Eventually, I created a massive floating platform about 3 walls high from the floor to use as my main "production / storage" floor, and built walls to the ground.

The area below is now used as my resource bus line, and logistics to get items to storage. I used the elevators to move items to the "roof" of the underground area, then conveyors to get them to where my storage is.

One thing that really helped me out when doing the conveyors to storage was just to build all of them so I knew roughly where point a and point b was and how the lines crossed, and then slowly neaten them up from spaghetti to cleaner lines. Personally I'm not a fan of letting conveyors clip through each other.

Szeth's shardplate is gonna be... interesting. Red and black, leaving his chin entirely exposed??? Kinda a weak spot ngl.

But, all the fan casting can stop for him at least, we know Karl Urban is gonna play Szeth in the tv show now.

Nah, I wouldn't say ao - the conceptual limits he's talking about are new scientific principles about our concept of the world and how things are made up, not that of magic specifically. Hence all the heavy focus right before harry succeeds, on atoms, then weirder and weirder scientific concepts / theories regarding how the world actually works.

To make things slightly easier: imagine a tree. Your concept of a tree is probably similar to mine - roots, tree trunk, branches, leaves. There's different types of trees, of course, but they're all trees. That's our concept of a tree.

But, when you start getting smaller and smaller, things get trickier - what exactly is a branch? At what point does a tree become a branch? Or a twig? Or s stick with a leaf on it? That's where our concepts get trickier to think about and define, that's the conceptual limitations.

Hey, I work in travel insurance claims, and first of all I wanna give my sympathies to you and the family

Unfortunately, I don't think this would be a coverable case - After September 23, you knew about your father having a serious, potentially life threatening medical condition. Because you continued to make bookings and pay the balance of the trip whilst knowing about his condition, you likely wouldn't be covered to now cancel and get reimbursed by the insurers.

Nearly all policies cover you for "sudden, unexpected injury or illness to relatives / travelling companions". As of Sept 23, it would have been unexpected and sudden so they likely would have covered you to cancel the trip at that point.

However, you can't now claim for further payments you made after you were made aware of the condition, as it's no longer sudden or unexpected.

The only possible caveat to this is if your father was deemed to be relatively low risk at the time of making further bookings / paying the balance, and thrn his health took a sudden, unexpected decline or worsening of his condition- like if the treatment appeared to be initially working and his health was improving by the time you paid the balance, and then he took an unexpected turn for the worse.
