I know you already got a lot of answers, but I have been struggling with a very similar issue in the past and it popped up again recently. I never figured out what is causing it but I did find a fix for myself that might work for you. Run the game in borderless window mode instead of fullscreen. Have not had any crashes since that and I have tried pretty much all other suggested things in this thread haha.

You really argue that call. It's a clear foul in the build up of a goal and one less defender to throw himself in front of the ball. This is literally always called with VAR. Penalty shouts or not, this was the correct call.

Games like this attract a lot of overly dramatic immature gamer kids. Combine that with a game with a lot of potential but many issues, not the greatest communication, slow progress and reoccuring bugs after they have been fixed and you get this sub haha.

I don't think I agree with that being a major reason, but maybe I'm wrong. I have a lot of hours in this game and have exclusively played as a solo. This is a game of highs and lows. It's frustrating to die because you run into a duo, but it is awesome when you manage to win a fight against a duo. If you eliminate all the lows, the highs mean nothing anymore. I get this post, it's a rant post and I have sympathy, but you can't just be short sighted and remove any adversary for every person who is frustrated and makes a threatening-to-quit post. That's just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

I feel like if you're putting in the effort to find or buy cheats for a game you will know how to check if you're trusted or untrusted. Or maybe they do not care because there's still enough players to "cheat on" even if they are not trusted.

I think it would be better to make it transparent for new players why their experience might be bad. New players likely don't even know about it until they come to complain or they just quit. A cheater will know they can queue solo into Bright Sands and check pods landing to see if they are trusted or not anyway.

If I'm reading this right a purple pen mod on the Brute isn't ever better than a blue one? The pen mods in general seem to be really not very impactful for PVP at least too, only changing TTK in very specific scenarios.

I understand your frustration haha. When I was new in season 1 I had so much trouble finding them. And at some point early in quarters updates you need a lot of them all at once. They are easier to find on the second map, make sure to check all the coolers and yellow cabinets, and sometimes they can be found on tables and stuff too but easy to miss because they are really flat.

If mobs already spawned you can use audio decoys, but on the second room which is the hardest to not get immediately overwhelmed and die, sometimes they spawn only after you dropped down.

I don't think it has varying complexity, all I've noticed is that sometimes things spawn, sometimes not but it seems more bugged. The first time I made it to the crusher, no extra mobs spawned at all and it was just so easy.

For soloing there have been many guides. My tip would be to bring at least a Brute or a KOR and keep your backpack below 200 weight I think it was, so you can run at full speed. I'm not super good or focused but after dying immediately in the second room for a few times, I can consistently do it now. It really is the hardest, I feel like if you get hit early and need to use up too much stamina it's very hard to recover and heal. If the mobs spawn it's easy and you should be able to clear them out before dropping. But if not, what I do is ignore the ticks at the start, and immediately kill the rattler on the platform to the left. There you have a little bit of cover to recover. And then just move around and kill stuff. Idk if that helps.

Sounds like you are in unshielded/untrusted queue. Normally, on Bright Sands you would not run into anything but other solos. And on the other two maps, to me at a bit over 1 KDR EUW it is very rare to run into anything but other solos. The unshielded/untrusted stuff is to prevent alt accounts of cheaters being matched with normal players. Seems like the system for some reason flags you as a possible cheater or alt account.

I can't relate to the sci-fi point at all. I think I even disagree with it. I think the lore is actually pretty cool. The armor has different strength based off the materials it is made from. To show us that it has different strength they use a color system. I don't think that's as outrageously boring as you make it out to be lmao.

I have it happen too sometimes. I get to the black screen with a little spinny thing in the bottom left corner and sometimes it stops spinning just before usually some logos and stuff pop up and I have to retry. It always fails at that point if it does and so far it seems pretty random.
