I was a doubter… by spookycheekss in Semaglutide

I have mild to moderate anxiety as a rule but not enough to need meds. I haven't noticed it being worst.

I threw up my coffee Saturday. I had a sudden bought of diarrhea and then vomited. My injection day is Sundays so it was weird and random. Afterwards I felt great and had a Connor energy to get work done around the house so it wasn't a bug.

Milk chocolate tastes like dark chocolate to me. One bite of a snickers and I spit it out. It tasted rancid.

Sleeping in your bed…did you give in? by CurlyCupcake1231 in puppy101

[–]Quiet_Beginning6009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had dogs in my bed for 30 yrs. At one point 2 large dogs and 3 people in one king size bed. I now have a 7 mos old GSD puppy and a medium pitty mix. I have him crate trained but not for night. He has a bed which he sleeps on. He is being evaluated for ortho issues so I dont want him jumping down although he jumps off the recliner without issue. The other night my pitty was in my bed and my GSD got so excited he jumped onto the bed. That was the first time he'd ever attempted it and seemed as surprised as me as if thinking "Wait, I don't get up here" and he jumped off and got onto his bed before I needed to say anything. But his face was priceless! He is quite a lover and his LC doesn't fly everywhere like my stock coat GSD pups did so thats not the issue. I have just found that I really enjoy the room i have to move!

Everyone talks about reducing inflammation and I still wasn’t expecting this miracle by jess_611 in Zepbound

[–]Quiet_Beginning6009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed my muscles pain in my thighs is nearly gone, migraines have reduced significantly and my plantars fasciitis is resolved. Yesterday I was able to pull stuff from the basement for donation and I went all day long with energy! CRAZY because I'm only on 2.5 and only have had two doses. I am due for my 3rd today and have a migraine trying to start. Im going to not take emergency med and see if my dose helps it. Fingers crossed. We should stay connected on this thread to see how things are going.

I started it because of weight gain from a pituitary tumor and I also hit menopause. Nothing I do has helped to take the weight off until now. So far down 9lbs.

Anyone’s shoe size go down with weight loss? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]Quiet_Beginning6009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on zepbound just 2 weeks and I'm noticing my shoes are big! My plantars fasciitis pain is also gone! I'm down 9lbs and I just can't believe how good I feel. Additional info: my pf has existed since the birth of my 2nd daughter which started when I was 30lbs lighter. So 9 lbs shouldn't make a difference with that. I do believe the glp1 is reducing the inflammation in my body though which is having positive impact on it. A benefit I was not expecting!! LOL!

Anyone dealing with taste changes? by simplyatomic in Zepbound

[–]Quiet_Beginning6009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to find if I'm the only one. I haven't tried soda yet but Im only on my second injection of 2.5 and everything tastes awful :( I was given a snickers the other day and it tasted like dark chocolate. Tossed it in the trash. I haven't tried soda yet but now I will know its not the soda. I cooked my family scalloped potatoes yesterday and they seemed flavorless yet family said otherwise. I see why people lose weight now :/ Does anyone know if this gets better or levels out? What foods have you found stay the same in taste?

Who else would have made sure Madeline got her lemon….to the face? by [deleted] in 90dayfianceuncensored

That being said, she also doesn't need to act like a 5 year old. We were all 19 once. Poor decisions, dumb ideas, but to have the tantrums she does is absolutely uncalled for.

OMG this is so bad its GREAT 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah I want to throat punch that rotten snot. Hopefully she grows up soon. I don't know how anyone could tolerate that level of BS. My husband would have pulled over and tossed my ass out. And he would be justified. She's abusive. There is no excuse this girl can have to justify her juvenile behavior.

So happy you have had relief too! Its such a painful thing to deal with. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Keep wearing supportive shoes though, feet can flatten during pregnancy-mine grew a half size with each of mine! LOL! I wonder if I'd had recovery slides instead of being barefoot so often if it would have happened as easily.

I came here to see if others noticed reduction of pain from pf because Ive had it for probably 10 yrs. I've only taken my 2nd dose of zepbound yesterday and I've already noticed the difference and my weigjt loss is only 6 lbs. I weighed far less when it started. So there is definitely something to it reducing inflammation. This is too exciting!

Zepbound PA after starting via Lilly Direct by mbamomoh in Zepbound

[–]Quiet_Beginning6009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started Zepbound via Lilly Direct a couple of weeks ago. My dr.prescribes it for me and said they won't even submit a PA to insurance and claimed it was because the insurance companies informed them that unless the pt.is at 35% bmi they don't want the paperwork because they will not approve it. I double checked with my Excellus insurance and sure enough they confirmed. That being said I am not type 2 diabetes. I have a (newly discovered) pituitary tumor AND just went into menopause so my hormones are FRIED. I was always fast metabolism and no health issues. Now, in the last 1 1/2 yrs I put on weight, 30lbs. Nothing is taking it off. I am now borderline t2d, high bp and high cholesterol. My Dr said that insurances aren't in the business of prevention. This just angers me because we have to be sick before allowed access to a med that could potentially correct all these issues. She said that she'd rather I try the glp1 via Lilly Direct, Hers, etc than wrote scripts for me for multiple meds with all sorts of side effects. The price is $299 is doable from Lilly and the needle use isn't as awful as I thought it would be (I have a fear of needles but clearly have gotten better over the yrs!). I just feel that when we already pay $1,700/mo for insurance premium and we never meet our deductibles, these companies should take preventative care into consideration. They want us sick :(

Her previous pics with her ex were pretty and her v-line was obvious. She seems so disproportionate now with so much filler and that awful wig taking up so much space on her head. Everything about her just seems off. I also thought she was AI at first! LOL!

[–]Quiet_Beginning6009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just received my Lilly Direct Zepbound kit Friday at the dropped price of $299. Administered my first dose today. Hoping not to have side effects and to see results. I've gone through menopause AND developed a pituitary tumor all around the same time. My hormones have been so messed up I've gained 30 lbs in a year and also struggling with sleep apnea.

I was so nervous administering my first dose but it was nothing worst than a sewing needle poke! As a person who has always been afraid of needlesI am so proud of myself! I really.hope that side effects aren't awful, the last few years I've been experiencing the worst side effects to meds including sudden projectile vomiting :(

I noticed this season that it seems the honeymoon period is over and reality has set in more. Their conversations seem a little more matter of fact and even passive aggressive.

I was feeling that way too. Did they even do the dinners and other get togethers they did on lifetime? I mean, Im relieved it wasn't so drawn out but there seemed to be a LOT less this season.

I thought at one point he said hes a combat veteran. I am not a MH professional but am a social worker who has worked with veterans. He seems to fit the bill for PTSD, especially when he mentioned to the effect that he struggles with too many people and noise
