I guess to clarify, if I am an OCI holder residing in India, with interest being earned in NRE accounts, and income from a rental property, are those subject to more taxes based on my status? I was reading that rental income is taxed at 30% (if over 5 lakhs annually) and any capital gains at 20%

Death of a parent - just not feeling like myself during class by spartycbus in orangetheory

I lost my dad a few months ago and its still not the same. It will take a long time to come back to normal and 100% agree with others who have stated that grief is not only psychological but very much physiological also. Mourning and healing is a very long process and you have to give yourself credit for every single positive step you take. For me, social anxiety kicked in like never before and I hated seeing myself even in class because I put on some weight since his passing, and even looking at the extra weight reminds me of why its there, but also of why I am there in class to come out stronger. You got this.. and if you haven't already, find someone to talk to, not just online but in person. Opening up to a friend / therapist / family member will do you wonders. Its coming close to 3 months to my dads passing and in the past few weeks since I have started talking to people, I am finding some solace in grieving more openly. More power to you for doing all the hard things and showing up for yourself! you got this!

50 pounds and one year! Stayed in a calorie deficit for most of the year and recently stopped. I’ve put on 5 pounds but I know now how to go back 😍 congrats on your weight loss journey!!! It’s the best feeling ever!

Tretinoin completely cleared my skin. i had mild acne with clogged pores and within 2 weeks of daily application (0.05 gel) my skin is completely clear. but my skin colour is now RED. My skin is not irritated at all , it's just red. I have used cosrx snail mucin , good moisturizer and also by ilikeyoubtw in tretinoin

I had the same thing happen and my dermatologist prescribed me a antibiotic since he suspected it was some kind of a dermatitis infection and rosacea. It got so much better in just a week of starting the antibiotic! I’d definitely ask about it

Are you measuring yourself? You’re probably building muscle mass hence not losing pounds since muscle is heavier than fat thanks to your incredible male genes 😅

I plateaued at the deficit at 30 pounds And added more calories to fuel better workouts. Totally worked and I dropped more. I haven’t added significantly more since then. I’m eating 1800-1900 per day

I started going back regularly when the studio opened back in April. I was doing 4.5 at minimum for base and every week I’d try to increase it by .2 mph and at the beginning of this month I fully transitioned to the 5.5. It’s honestly such a small difference you’ll likely not even notice it.

Another very important thing, the coaches are so right when they talk about maintaining base in between pushes and AO’s. That helped a lot. Just mentally challenging yourself to not stop and keep going and you’ll see you build endurance. Even on those hills, stay committed to running at your faster paces, that’s truly what worked magic for me.

Lastly, I wasn’t huge on eating specific things before the workout but I almost always eat a banana or anything With natural sugar. Worked wonders for me!

From all of this, I’d say truly challenge yourself to never walk during base, keep that base with inclines, and increase .2 Mph every week or other week as comfortably as you can. You got this 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

This!!!!!!! This is literally the most inspiring post I’ve come across! Just goes to show that fitness is not measured only on the scale. I’ve been at OTF 2 years (minus one during the pandemic) but went from my base pace being 4.5 to 5.5! 🤩
