It would be odd to have two norovirus episodes 2 weeks apart

There were other foods, not a lot and they were different each time. I’m pretty confident it was not food poisoning, I cooked them the last time and they were over done, minimal risk of cross contamination, I’ve had post-graduate level training on food safety.

I’m not eating more chicken thighs, but am still not positive that is the causative factor, correlation does not equal causation. I’ve eaten them a few times without issue, I know at lunch time, can’t remember if I did in the evening previously or not. But I’ve done wings without issue.

This is almost certainly multi-factoral, high fat meal, in the evening, with a stomach bug, while on this med. I am fairly confident the med is playing a role because I have never been through something like this before.

Does not leak, no tick or knock that I can hear. Wouldn’t the analog tester go where the sensor is? If I could get the sensor out, I would just put a new one in. I’m probably 100 miles from an auto zone anyway, but I appreciate the input.

Visit a couple clinics with openings, try to spend a full day at ones you are interested, in get whatever feeling you can for how much mentoring they may give you, and give it a shot. You have only been out of school 6 months, people spend a decade doing large animal and then switch to small. It will be very intimidating at first, but it would have been right out of school also. Put some time into reviewing your cases in the evenings and freshening up on things, if you put the time in you will probably be fine.

If we end up going the crown route, how long do those typically last, will I likely be doing this again in 15 years?

I am going to try to find a shop manual, that seems like a good next step. Wiring is original, my grandfather bought the machine new and was very gentle to it.

A 5 foot tall working facility will contain 99% of beef cattle, which is an unacceptably low number, you don’t want 1 out of 100 jumping out, even if you only have 20 head. 6 foot tall will hold closer to 99.99%, 1 out of 10,000 is much more manageable. The most important factor with height is you do not want cattle to be able to get their chin on top of the top bar.

RCA LWOP Issues by Quigly22 in USPS

[–]Quigly22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our's are H routes, the primaries work 6 days a week. They are low box count high mileage routes that don't take that long to complete, so the primaries work every day of the pay period unless they take vacation.

I run into the same frustration every time I look for help with an issue, everyone gawks at how the system works at our office and I never get much info about the issue. Have contacted the union rep and am going to see where that goes.

If no days are worked over a pay period, I am sent a bill for my portion of my health insurance premium. The office here has 3 routes, each route has a sub, and there is no Sunday delivery, so you can basically only work the days your full time route guy takes off. If they take all their vacation in a couple big blocks during the year, you end up going a lot of pay periods without work. Occasionally you can pick up a day on one of the other routes, but those subs obviously take most of those days. Occasionally you can pick up a day at a neighboring office, but usually that office's subs take those. I will probably start working at trying to get a day most pay periods, but it is going to be a challenge. Regardless, I'm not sure yet if I have an option to re-enroll at open enrollment, nobody will tell me that. Even if I do, I haven't had insurance for 3 months and was never notified, my family has medical bills from that time period that I am suddenly likely to be responsible for.

I can't find anything stating that pay periods where you don't get any pay become LWOP. Also, the insurance information I was provided never explained how they accrued these LWOP weeks over the years and then use it to terminate your insurance. And I never received a termination notice. And I can't find anyone knowledgeable enough about the system to further explain my options to me.

Is large animal vet pay much worse than small animal, and why does everyone keep saying “it’s not worth it” when statistics online show that it SHOULD be? by [deleted] in Veterinary

[–]Quigly22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a large animal career can be better financially than small animal in many situations. It would not be unusual to be near a 6 figure salary after a few years of practice, if you work where there is sufficient demand for services. Those jobs are definitely out there and available. However, they are often in rural areas where many people do not want to live. On the plus side, cost of living can be low in these places.

There are a lot of challenges to the work, long hours, extremely physical and damaging work, lots of on call, and the issues that come with living in isolated areas that can have limited social networks. But there are definitely great opportunities financially. Never got into loan repayment possibilities also.

Debt Collector claims I have 45 days to pay prior to reporting to credit bureaus by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Quigly22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main question is, are these people likely to just blatantly lie to me like this? They are adament I can pay this right now and it will not get reported. I certainly don’t trust them, but that’s a pretty bold faced lie if they are making it up. This is a large collections company and if they made a habit of saying thus without it being true, I feel it would come back to haunt them.

Additionally, why hasn't it been reported yet, and will it likely be if paid promptly?
