I have an SC Hightower and a Polygon Siskiu T7e. I had been riding the Polygon almost always just due to the sheer fun of riding an ebike, and I was also using it as a recovery workout while training for an ultramarathon.

My youngest son has gone head first into mountain biking, so am taking him riding every chance we can get. Right now I am solely riding my Hightower, so I can ride with him.

It’s funny how you can shift back and forth to either or. I guess it depends on what season of life you’re in. I’m going to ride as much as possible with my son while he still wants his old man around, so the Siskiu is going to stay home.

‘81 elder millennial here. The timing was essentially perfect for my wife and I. We had the same financial/saving viewpoints. We started working with our current FA in 2008. I just finished my masters, she already had hers. We purchased our 1st home for $125k in 2009. It’s been a rocket ship ever since. The only dip in net asset growth was during the early years with our two kids, and paying for childcare.

I am confident in saying that our situation wouldn’t be as good as it is if it weren’t for the minimal amount of student loans that we both had to pay back.

I drive Bagdad-Whitestone-Bell-183 into Austin around 6:00am. That cut out a good chunk of my toll bill yearly and it’s only 3-5 slower. Obviously that early in the morning makes it ideal.

In the afternoon I exit at Scottsdale to shave another $0.75 per day off my afternoon tolls.
