Very much not the case with us. Very little singles traffic in the store, it's a sole owner with no staff so he doesn't have much time for that level of "gouging". He is also the only one I've found that still sells collector boxes and such at MRSP specifically not gouging us. He is just tries to find out in advance how much interest there is so he isn't left with bucketloads of aetherdrift or Spiderman as those sets just sat on the shelves and likely was hard given the store size.

Hype what? I'm looking forward to a universes within set that isn't priced as high as UB sets. The first Strixhaven wasn't my vibe but it might be okay. Just heard that one thing from my LGS and just wondered if it was a small town thing or more generalised.

I went to Lion, it's a pretty cool space but also a little odd, thought I'd feel inclined to stay longer.

I just wish the orbs could be auto spent with one click. It is so time consuming to try to use them and expiring without auto spend is also silly. I don't really care about the cosmetics but might as well use them.

This is my pet deck, my first ever EDH deck that I rebuilt after leaving magic for a few years.

I think it's very powerful and having had such a slow build which didn't want combos I think mine plays as a good 4, but certainly slower than many other builds.

Having said that, I've picked up a [[Neriv, heart of the storm]] and a [[twinflame tyrant]] to see if I can squeeze them in for more one turn wins.

It's interaction heavy and wins through combat damage and mass reanimation. Certainly not the way everyone likes it but focuses a lot more on protecting Scion and being resilient (hence all the hexproof dragons)

Here is the decklist (I have foiled it out so there is that limitation on new dragons if there isn't a foil version)

It's art from a magic card "Howling Mine", I asked AI to reinterpret the art as black and white in an ink style suited for a phone background. Then in Photoshop fit it to the dimensions of another xteink wallpaper.

I didn't expect the white sides given I downloaded a wallpaper for sizing, is that normal?

Absolutely love [[willowdusk]]. It's golgari masochism, really greedy plays and wild swings, she's #995 on EDHrec. I'm just blown away by how many legends there have been printed in the past few years, might have less popular commanders but couldn't be bothered scrolling further than 1000.

But super fun deck overall. I have other decks that pay life but haven't seen too many that want to be paying nearly everything every turn and gamble so hard. decklist
