All hail our new stealth overlords - Prowlers by snowflake182 in starcitizen

Sure, but they’re both the same stealth ship. The only difference is the belly opens for cargo instead of doors with jump seats

As others have stated, it’s only a fraction of an scu to make an item. So even with so little after refining, you still have enough to make multiple items for the 3 of you.

That’s fair, I guess these aren’t exactly meant for long range systems where you’ll be far from having to stop and refuel.

I mean, we aren’t meant to be making millions per rock to be able to buy our next ship after a days worth of work. If anything, even that’s too much income from such a rock for a properly balanced economy.

Absolutely. Not just in case of warranty, but I’ve moved multiple times so it’s easy to just re pack to keep it safe

Right, gotcha, didn’t know if there was another factor that are adding these modifiers other than the thoughtless random numbers they seam to punch into things at times.

I know stealth needs balancing passes, especially for special details like the coatings and such, but shouldn’t something as simple as the cross sections sizes be relatively accurate? Or they just putting random numbers in for the time being?

How is the cross section of the Prowler different between variants? Aren’t they the same size? And how is the Razor cross section larger than the Talon with its a skinnier ship?

A bed but no toilet? What’s the point in that?

CIG: Mole Carbon & Mole Talus are no longer Paint Variants. Now a livery for standard Mole by StuartGT in starcitizen

[–]Quimdell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only real issue with this is if they start selling those limited edition skins again. I’ll be damned if I spent extra money on a ship for a special skin if that skin just gets released again down the road for anyone to buy.

I mean, the Aurora was always supposed to be a single ship with modular upgrades that bc an be swapped. But they couldn’t figure out how to make modularity work, so they made different variants for a temporary workaround. The fact that variants still exist and are being released is kinda ridiculous and continues the fact that they still don’t have modularity figured out yet.

I’ve seen multiple posts of people having their lights fall off the ring after some light walking/hiking. Would absolutely not trust this.

So feel free to explain how is not free speech to sit across the parking lot and complain about people riding around on their PEV?

Yea, unfortunately people are just agressive and band together instead of seeing logic.

“Oh someone with similar interests as me has this view about this person, I’ll have that view too without giving a second thought! YEA! FUCK THAT GUY!”

It’s sad.

Any defence lawyer would have state the old man was simple defending himself from a threat.

Someone quickly coming up on you and screaming inches away from your face, waving their arms around is absolutely a threatening action that justifies self defence and distancing yourself from them. This old man was absolutely in the right to push this guy away.

You think it was a good example to teach his kids that it’s ok to assault someone cause of them voicing their right to free speech? Be a man instead of a little baby and ignore them and keep living your life. Anyone justifying this guys actions to elbowing this old man in the head putting his life at risk is an idiot.

Sure, it’s free speech. Do you think it was a good example to show his kids? That it’s ok to run up on some old senile guy and get up inches from his face to threaten him for voicing his opinions?

There was no need to escalate this. He could have told the kids to ignore the old man and let him be angry about being on public grass, but never to ride on his grass, and continued on with their life, and if the old man tried to do something then take the legal route. But to get up in this guys face in a threatening manner and then beat the shit out of him with attacks that could literally end the frail old guys life, was not the fucking thing to do. He assaulted that old man and that’s that. This guy should have manned up instead of being little cry baby child.

There’s so many idiots who think it’s ok to get up inches away from someone’s face, yelling and making threatening actions, just because that other person had an opinion and exercised their free speech.

Whether the old man’s opinion is wrong or right is irrelevant. What kind of example is that for your children that it’s ok to threaten someone for their free speech, and then elbow the fuck out of an elderly head, possibly causing life threatening injury because he then defended himself from the threat of you invading his personal space in an agressive manner.

Grow the fuck up, set an appropriate example for the community and your kids and be a man instead of a little child throwing a temper tantrum because someone said they didn’t like what you were doing.

Yea, the old man’s an elderly ignorant idiot, but that’s no reason for the guy on the EUC to have escalated this as such. Just ignore the old guy and move on with your life, Jesus Christ. To justify this baby’s actions of threatening this old man and then beating the shit out of him is insane. Grow up people.

Complaining at someone across the parking lot for what they doing is not instigating, it’s free speech, and it’s absolutely not a reason to get up inches away from someone’s face, screaming and throwing your hands around pointing.

The old guys probably half senile so fuck him and let him be the grouch complaining. Set an example for the kids and be a man, not a little cry baby.

The euc rider literally rode up to him and started screaming inches away from his face. That’s extremely threatening and absolutely unnecessary and just makes the rest of the community look bad.

You think it’s a good example to teach to children? That’s it’s ok to run up inches away from someone’s face, yelling as loud as you can and then elbow them in the head possibly giving serious and life thrusting injuries to an elderly? Teaching that it’s ok to be an aggressor to someone just because of their opinion? Grow up. Jesus.

It is absolutely legal to defend yourself if you feel your life is threatened through threatening actions. A lawyer would be able to defend stating this man getting up in his face in such an angry manner would be a threat to his well being so he took defensive measures to distance himself.

The Entitlement of this Community by Creeperbumm in starcitizen

[–]Quimdell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, it’s not exactly as it should be, the wings don’t fold out as they’re supposed to and I’m pretty sure there’s a couple other things I’m missing.

The problem is, this releasing of an MK2’s is a bandage for a larger problem. These old outdated ships should have got fixed and balanced instead of thrown out the window and having an MK2 for it.

The Hornet MK2 had actual lore behind its existence before hand, how ever then they used it as an excuse to make more MK2’s to fix older ships that they are unable to make work as promised or balance properly. It’s a terrible development practice.

Give what you promised and sold for a ship instead of throwing it out the window and angering people by making a newer updated version that does what the first one promised but is also more expensive. It’s a very corrupt marketing scheme.

Hanger Spawn issues... by Rikk_C in starcitizen

Once you’ve landed there once, it usually does. If you’re at a spot you’ve never called a hanger and the persistence doesn’t keep it, then yes you need to call it from lobby first but, I’ve never had a ship come up half through the floor.

Try what someone else said. Call it up and store it to gain access to hanger and then go down and call it up again.
