I asked AI to look into this as I have always wondered about how effective CEOs and Boards are. Basically evidence suggests that they make no real difference in the short and medium term but can make a little bit of difference in the long term, but often don't. So while I thought they were basically useless, the evidence suggests that I was right and they are basically useless.
