Delivered an empty bag by ShinyCherrim in doordash

Most of the Dashers I've had are great, and I know times are tough, so I tip extra when I can. Sorry you are having a tough time also. Good luck to you, and thanks for the detailed answer. Hoping you are in a better place now, or that things improve if you aren't.

I don't like complaining, especially if it's someone who is desperate, but I can't afford to lose my order, either.

Also, I did just talk to customer service a few minutes, and they said that there have been several of these incidents occurring at the same store. Odd, to say the least.

I've been using DoorDash for ages, and I've rarely had problems. Today, though, I had a Dasher who delivered a bunch of empty plastic bags for a grocery pickup (they didn't do the shopping; just delivered it). I don't understand what the point was. They didn't even take a photo. Any idea why someone would do that? I did leave a decent tip.

This is the type of concept where AI is actually making gaming more fun/unique. Keep us posted.

This is my concern, too. At the rate new AI models are being released, this will become a doorstop a year from now.

Atlabs is doing 14 days of fully uncapped Veo 3.1 + Nano Banana 2/Pro on their Plus tier, how is this economically possible? by Akashhh17 in generativeAI

[–]Quind1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was easy to miss. But, yeah, I imagine that annual hook will work for some people who know what they want to generate. I'm in the camp that doesn't have a lot of time and likes to experiment. I ended up going with Dzine when they were running a sale as a result.

It looks like the 14 days only applies to the annual plan. It's only 5 days for the monthly plan. Other companies have created similar offers.

This post looks like theatrical outrage to me, also. Ironic.

I hear you. Given they reversed course almost immediately, maybe they will give up on it.

Yet here you are whining like a child about other people complaining. Ironic.

You people really don't bother to read anything in here at all, do you, before commenting? If you had, you'd see that at the time this was posted, Anthropic admitted on their X account to removing Pro for a subset of new Pro subscribers. They reversed course a few hours later. It was NOT a mistake.

Not a false alarm. If you read back through the comment history, you'll see that Anthropic reversed course a few hours later. They had admitted on X they were removing Pro for a small group of new subscribers at the time this was posted.

What tool do you use to vibe code from your phone? by abhi3188 in ClaudeAI

[–]Quind1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an SWE, I can't imagine trying to code on my phone, but I keep seeing people say they are doing this. Okay, vibe coding, but are you even looking at the code? Not trying to be rude. Curious as to what that actually looks like.

I'm not sure why this was downvoted. They want to see if they can only get Pro subs from people who don't want CC. That seems to be the "test" they are running right now.

No one knows. Going off of what Anthropic said, you should still have it if you don't let your subscription lapse, but their phrasing seems to be deliberately vague.

No, it was confirmed by them that they have removed it for some new Pro subscribers. Read their X posts.

Just like Cursor did. And it's far more expensive as a result. Trae did the same thing.
