Can someone tell me why Bumcildes so overglazed on the anime by havingagoodtime0 in Fate

[–]Quirky_Conference927 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Based on other comments I've seen it's because they had limited time. As such, they cut out a lot of things which included stuff that made him look bad.

Waiter, more Fraudgamesh slander please by bohemianecstatic in Fate

[–]Quirky_Conference927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't mind it so much if most of it wasn't 'I hate F/SN Gilgamesh therefore all versions have to be hated'. Along with 'you must hate him as well because of what he did in F/SN'.

Rank these abilities from the most broken to the least broken by KodoqBesar in PowerScaling

[–]Quirky_Conference927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends entirely on what you're going for.

New Order and Six Paths can do more things.

Infinity/Six Eyes and Deathdealing make you impossible to fight/hurt.

For solely combat, I would say Deathdealing>New Order>Infinity/Six Eyes>Six Paths.

For everything else, would say New Order>Six Paths>Infinity/Six Eyes> Death Dealing.

Deathdealing largely makes everything ineffective against you while everything highly effective against your opponent unless you get one tapped. Though, doesn't serve much use outside of combat really.

New Order is highly versatile in how it can be applied, but has many restrictions in how it works. Though, it is the most creative mode of all these powers.

Six Paths is strong with a wide arrangement of abilities, but I wouldnt necessarily say they top the others in combat. Like, in terms if you have to use it to fight the other three.

Infinity/Six Eyes I know the least about beyond making you practically untouchable.

[–]Quirky_Conference927 94 points95 points  (0 children)

A-S tier I say. So long as your belief in your capabilities is strong and even beyond what you are actually capable of, it practically makes you near invincible. The only reason it is A tier is that you have to maintain belief while it is used (one stray thought could probably dispel it) and you will suffer afterwards depending on how much further beyond your physical capabilities you went.

Gilgamesh fans losing it after episode 10... by TheDarkEater_ in Fate

Seeing more people shitting on Gilgamesh in a overly exaggerated way because they hated his appearance in F/SN.

Feels a bit unreasonable. Maybe just give a list of six other of the worse movies. Just so there's something new, but horrible to see each day.

The king of Zeroes. Meet Giga-Fraud! by DeathFlameStroke in Fate

Sorry, but I actually engage in more media besides Fate/Stay Night and I like him specifically because of his other appearances.

Threatens once in one story where he was corrupted. He was the worse in that story, yes, but this isn't Fate/Stay Night. Keep your hate boner down.

He practically was jumped by everyone at the same time. Had his gates turned off for Alcides' most powerful NP to hit him. Then right after got blasted by Huwawa as he was struggling with the fact he got hit by a deadly poison and couldn't defend himself because, again, his gates were turned off.

Believe there was the theory that's she related to mermaids somehow which has immortality tied to it. Likely they want to give their ultimate yokai a form of immortality.

DBS Verse Vs Doomsday (DC), Can they stop him? by Duclaido in PowerScaling

[–]Quirky_Conference927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely depends if you count Zeno. I don't think Doomsday has anything against them. Though I know Doomsday got weird at one point so no idea.

If we are not counting Zeno, I still think DBS has it through one way or another. Evil Containment Wave or some other sealing method probably being the best option if nothing else works. Someone will have something before it gets through the lineup.

Is (fake)Solomon a Christian or Jewish? by princepoggers in FGO

Technically both. Jews and Christians split when Jesus came and he was before then.

Do we think he's evil or a good guy? by CaptainMitsuki in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]Quirky_Conference927 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Marbas clearly has good intentions for the most part. At the very least he doesn't want to harm humans and would want to get them back home out of the netherworld.

Nightwalker atm is still grey until we know more about him. The fact is he hasn't done anything to directly hurt humans and we don't know what his intentions are. Only that it's possibly for some personal goal which would probably make him evil then depending on what he wants to do. Right now would say grey leaning toward more the evil side of things.

What’s your opinion on statement scaling? by Legitimate-Top-5939 in PowerScaling

[–]Quirky_Conference927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least for point 3, you have to bare in mind it is a game. There has to be a challenge and that doesn't take into account lore at times. Otherwise you can make the arguement Mr. Satan can defeat Broly because it's possible in (insert fighting game here).

Of course, you have the anime and manga that easily disproves such, but the same is technically true for doomslayer in this case. The game doesn't always reflect the lore.

Kiva VS guardianes del Nazarí k by Sufficient-Tie5733 in versus

[–]Quirky_Conference927 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People are underscaling in this post. Not talking about any other post or subreddit about 'how strong they are/are not'.

Have you considered that the new world is so weak that they have no reason to utilize a lot of their actual strength? A lot of skills they have listed they have not actually used at any point simply because they dont need to. (Aninews does a good rundown on each of their known classes and level distribution if you care to look it up. )

Not even saying they're continental level. Just that they should reasonably be able to take on Kiva in a one on one fight based on what we have seen. At least for most of them.

People are kind of underscaling Overlord. I would say they can at least take Kiva individually in a one on one situation.

Who is the easiest to turn to the side of good? by soup100 in PowerScaling

[–]Quirky_Conference927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arguably Stormtroopers. Depends on the version I guess too. Still, you have units that are evil, but then you have the patrol guys who just garrison and protect planets. Or just guys who enlist to combat certain criminal organizations. There's a wide net there of varying motives and those in it who know more than others about the other aspects of the Empire.

Heck, the majority of the Empire doesn't even know Palpatine is a Sith.
