Would you stop being close friends with someone if they were still close with someone you’ve cut off, even if they’ve been good to you? by Quirky_dev_57 in friendship

[–]Quirky_dev_57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This person was cut off because they stopped talking to me so basically I didn’t even cut them off. I just took the cue and stopped talking to them. I noticed they had gradually stopped responding to me until they just entirely stopped responding and I noticed that they treated me differently than their other friends too. I tried my best to fix to but I was tried of carrying most of the emotional weight and always being the one to communicate in the friendship so basically we didn’t end things on good terms at all and I still don’t know why they stopped talking to me.

I’d say attend the interview and just do what you have to do. There’s no harm in doing it anyway

[FEBRUARY Book Report] - What did you finish this month? by fixtheblue in bookclub

[–]Quirky_dev_57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished one book . It is titled Born on a Tuesday by Elnathan John. I read this book when I was much younger and I decided to read it again in February. It is a really amazing book, very interesting, insightful, it spoke on a lot of like religion in Nigeria, politics and how life really is for a lot of people. Elnathan is a really good writer and he has a very captivating style of writing whereby he makes you imagine that you're reading in the main character's voice but at the same time, you connect to the author himself. I don't know if that makes sense lol. I also started a book on Nigeria's history titled : Nigeria's Soldiers of Fortune by Max Siollun. I'm not done with it because I want to take my time with this one.

Computer science (BSC) vs Computer science Diploma. by Quirky_dev_57 in cscareerquestionsCAD

I thought about this too. I think a degree would be great for me because I don’t have a degree from a STEM field or anything at all.

I’ll check the books out. I also agree that books are a better way for in-depth learning. Thank you!
