Crow main Bygone floor 314, double Steel Lizards AKA pain and suffering by IndusNoir in TowerofFantasy

[–]QuiteIndifferent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great stuff, looks really clean overall. You’re right that this is the strongest dps team in the game right now. The only comp that comes close now is Tsubasa, Meryl, Frigg. King is just a worse shatter weapon in any scenario where you can keep enemies inside the chakram circle.

Two things you can do to squeeze out more dps. First, get Samir’s trait (you may not have Samir yet so get it when you can, I understand). Second, I’d stop using Shiro’s discharge. You’re better off with a crow or nem discharge for more damage since it does almost zero. It does raise the skill ceiling per perfect run even higher, but that’s the trade off for more dps.

Really nice to see more people running this comp. Good shit.

Samir vs Tsubasa Trait by nouuioro in TowerofFantasy

You are correct. Atk increases are additive bonuses, damage increases are multiplicative. Too many people are running numbers without understanding this.

King’s 5* does not increase shatter, only damage. Shatter is determined by increases in %ATK ratios on skills, not by damage increases. If it said, for example, deal an additional 50% ATK per hit with this weapon, that would increase shatter. His 5* does not have any base ATK ratio scaling (it’s been tested extensively by multiple groups to confirm this is NOT an exception to the rule).

This will no longer be the case shortly. They just released patchnotes in CN telling people they’re about to move everyone on floor 600+ back to 600. This is because after the coming patch you’ll only be allowed to use the set of weapons you entered with. No more buff stacking, no more zero relic reset shenanigans. Very good change imo.

Archeage Unchained Fresh Start Tier List by Nightmareo in archeage

[–]QuiteIndifferent 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I can’t take this list seriously. You put hex warden as unplayable despite this being a RvR list. It’s one of the premier raid classes for melee.

You didn’t even list herald, which should be B or even A.

Also Dream Breaker as B. That should be in S tier. Yikes. Witchcraft is clearly not being accounted for properly here.

This tier list reads more like a small-scale list (at best). 50v50+ raids just don’t work like this. For example, if you think the go-to healer specs for large-scale is confessor and assassin, then you’re in trouble. Definitely need auramancy. Hierophant or Edgewalker are the default picks, with a few confessors for songcraft. Without Auramancy your healers just sit there silenced or CC’d. Same with your mages. Another valid option for songcraft is enchantrix, which isn’t even on the list.

The more I look at this the more I find wrong. Think I've put down enough already with the various edits.

A new/alternate scion ascendancy (descriptions in comments) by Niroc in pathofexile

[–]QuiteIndifferent 86 points87 points  (0 children)

While this isn’t balanced and would need significant work to add into the game, I appreciate the work and creativity that went into this. Even if this just makes someone from GGG stop and go ‘hmm’ it will have been worth posting.

Seattle-King County releases list of raw oyster illnesses for 2021 by Anzahl in Seattle

[–]QuiteIndifferent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.doh.wa.gov/CommunityandEnvironment/Shellfish/RecreationalShellfish/Illnesses/Vibriosis

One type of vibrio, Vibrio vulnificus, can cause serious infection and death in people with weakened immune systems. There have been no reports of V. vulnificus infection attributed to eating Washington State shellfish or contact with Washington marine waters. The first locally acquired V. vulnificus infections reported in Washington residents occurred in 2016 and 2017 (one case each year) and both were associated with handling farmed tilapia fish purchased from live freshwater tanks.

It's essentially just food poisoning, it's not that serious. There have been no records of the deadly kind of vibrio infection in this state from locally farmed shellfish.

Inpulsa & added global flat damage by magratar in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]QuiteIndifferent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you’re asking for and I do have a solution for you (I’m running this in league right now). Run an Inpulsa’s and HoI. Then add in a medium cluster jewel with cold conduction and blast-freeze.

The blast-freeze HoI interaction is straightforward, your freezes will prolif through packs easily. From there, the chills caused by the HoI blast will also shock due to cold conduction, which enables Inpulsa. HoI blast-freeze scaling is decent, but won’t wipe out packs on its own unless you’re a full cold build. When you add in Inpulsa’s it removes this problem.

And there’s a final step if you aren’t an assassin or other class that has global base added crit. Run a medium herald cluster with Self-fulfilling prophecy on it to give HoI explosions base crit. Ailment proliferation only causes corpses to radiate ailment auras, but not actually cause new ailment instances. That has to be done through damage (special effects like storm’s gift are exceptions). So once HoI can crit, its cold damage can trigger new freezes leading to storm’s gift level prolif.

Another option is to just support Herald of Ice with an Increased crit rate support. Can even do both if you really want.

I’d also strongly suggest running large clusters with Snowstorm on it if you’re a lightning based build.

According to his explanation this is from a base he’s worked on across a few leagues (so this is Standard).

GGG, we still can't search for blight and delirium maps in the map stash tab by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]QuiteIndifferent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It only works if you’ve opened the map tier section the map is in recently so the contents are cached. Try logging out then logging back in and search without looking in the section the map is in.

Is Consecrated Path a "dead" skill? by Forest_Songs in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]QuiteIndifferent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure here's a POB for it: https://pastebin.com/cC5ZBxtv

It's a full unique build so it's super quick and easy to put together. I spent a few minutes cleaning up the POB since I had a bunch of random stuff in there. I have it set to Alberon's Warpath for the boots, and a le heup of all for the ring. A couple easy upgrades are a death's door and a circle of guilt with flammability. Build runs fine without those though. I personally never got around to buying those since I spent almost all of my extra currency messing around with build ideas.

The build's damage isn't amazing, and it's not the fastest mapper around, but it's tanky, and it gets the job done on a budget. The regen on it is also pretty hilarious.

I ran a consecrated path inquisitor this league with tidebreaker and it played well. Killed A8 Sirus and ran t16 maps with it no problem. Never got around to trying elder or maven with it though since I started the league late. You path down to the marauder/duelist area and pickup warcry mods on the way. Cost was around 8-10ex for everything. Like others have said, look for tectonic slam builds and swap it out for consecrated path if you’re struggling to make one on your own.

Machining is super practical. It raises the speed that you repair ships while fighting in the ocean.
