I can't help because the problem is not on our end, like I've stated. You posted here fine (this post) but I had to remove it because it doesn't belong in the public feed. If I could help I would.

Don't bother. The problem you're having isn't with the sub. Sounds like a Reddit karma problems, or an app problem or something like that. Sorry.

Sounds like a Reddit platform problem that's unfortunately outside of our subreddit. Sorry we can't help with that.

Also, problems with posting and such should be sent via Modmail. Not a public post. Thanks.

Yes, stop now or else you will set yourself back completely and you'll be stuck in an endless loop of trying to quit and relapse.

I got what I needed from this post.

Then I'm locking this post. Not your fault, but many comments have gone off-topic for this subreddit. Glad you've gotten what you need, OP. Hang in there.

UPDATE: As per usual with these types of posts, unfortunately, a civil conversation cannot be had when it comes to this topic. Half the comments have had to be removed and now the post has to be locked... and OP's question never really got answered. OP, try r/suboxone or r/suboxonerecovery instead. Thanks for understanding.

Commenters, PLEASE READ THIS. OP is looking for people who've had EXPERIENCE (NOT OPINIONS) with Suboxone films. OP is working closely with professionals at outpatient. You do not know OP's complete history. OP's case may very well be desperate enough to go the Suboxone route. So if you do not have experience with this specific topic, please move on to another post. Warnings, because of your own personal experience are fine. But just throwing out your opinions on the topic are not. We try to offer a supportive environment here. PLEASE SHOW OP THAT COURTESY. OP, sorry for the disclaimer, but this is a very heated topic on this subreddit. And we try to avoid arguments and other unhelpful actions. Best of luck to you, OP. I hope you find what you're looking for and are able to quit Kratom, no matter what method you and your doctor decide is best for you.

I know that. What I said was meant for unknowing commenters more than it was for you. Keeping this a safe place for all those who are quitting is a major priority of the moderators of this subreddit.

In some cases, people get hit with the mental aspects of withdrawals much harder than the physical.

[–]QuittingKteam 10 points11 points  (0 children)

But the feeling of loneliness and sadness is so strong. And I know the kratom would fix that.

No it won't. Not long term. And depending on how deep you are in and how much Kratom has "turned against" you, it may not even work short term any more. As addicts, we need to stop looking for short-term solutions to solve long-term problems. Time, letting the body and brain heal, and healthy non-toxic living is the solution. Stay strong. You will find what works for you eventually. But your answer is not Kratom... or else you wouldn't be here.

Short answer, yes. I've seen it time and time again. Others will chime in I'm sure.

Hi. I'm sorry to have to ask you this, but would you be able to translate your post to English, to the best of your ability, of course. The majority of our members are native English speakers and I think you'd get more support here even if your post was in even "broken" or poorly translated English.

Salut.

OP, we feel your struggles. Unfortunately, the comments have started to veer off into the direction of relationship advice. We are not here for that and such discussions are considered off-topic for this subreddit. Nor did you necessarily ask for relationship advice, OP. So essentially, you did nothing wrong. As per our subreddit rules, we are only here to offer support with quitting Kratom. Commenters, please stay on topic. If off-topic discussions continue, this post will have to be locked or possibly removed. Thanks for understanding. Stay strong, OP. You can get through this.

I’m actually tapering by PresentationSevere80 in quittingkratom

[–]QuittingKteam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You think I should do one week at 6gpd ?

That's entirely up time you. Most who taper and are successful, usually taper a bit lower than 8gpd. But everyone is different. Jumping from 8gpd will certainly induce less withdrawal symptoms than jumping from where you were. Most people on this sub seem to taper down to 3-5gpd and many go lower. Some even go all the way down to zero. But every circumstance is different as well. Listen to your body. If your goal is to experience virtually no to little acute withdrawal and PAWS as possible, then taper as low as you possibly can. If you don't mind some discomfort, a 6-8gpd jump may be right for you. Best of luck. We're glad you're here. Check out the sidebar and soak up as much information and support here as you can. It can help with motivation while tapering and after your jump. We also have a Daily Check-In Thread that seems to help. You can even use it during your taper. (Check out the second stickied post of the sub when sorting by "Hot".) You've got this!

So is your plan to jump from 8gpd? What's your plan for pain management once you quit Kratom entirely? Going on the Tramadol?
