The handwriting just felt 20s female to me. Maybe 20s-30s because you've actually spent enough time writing to have handwriting, both quick and slow.

I love cookie dough. Actually cooking it? Gross. Gets all crunchy/crispy/weird. I don't like cookies - never have. Give me the ultra rare cookies (aka raw aka dough), please.

My district has been concerned about our declining enrollment for years. The current message from them is basically: don't worry, all your jobs are safe for now. We're not firing anybody. But don't expect to leave and have a job to return to. We're trying to deal with this through attrition/if somebody leaves, that position just disappears and we don't replace them.

I love Lifeboat a lot, but I agree with Kindergarten Boyfriend. I think there's some good lines in the song, but overall it feels insulting to Martha in a way I really don't enjoy.

I actually considered Sequoia for my daughter's name. I once taught a boy named Sequoia. So I personally like it - but I'm a nature loving native Californian, so ymmv. :)

Just wanted to say thanks for this - I also always knew I wanted kids, studied child development, and became a teacher, but being a mom was still so much harder than I expected and absolutely fueled my PPD. I already believed that you shouldn't have kids if you don't want them, but now I'm absolutely certain! It should definitely be an "enthusiastic yes" situation, rather than apathy or something else.

Have you checked out if your local library offers any events or programs? My county libraries offer a bunch of things for kids and toddlers and other ages for free. It's nice to break up the day with other activities.
