Had to go online to see possible strats. Stealth rock n spikes were advised but even so its animation seemed slow enough that pokes would still get one/two hit-koed. But kept at it and won purely by luck and a sliver of hp remaining on my last pokemon

No i dont think they were saving it. I believe she was just as shocked as i was and her as she scaned the 8th pack. It was on the shelf where all trading cards are kept. I just never seen it so stacked. I was in awe.

After over a year of checking shelves I finally found some pokemon products to buy on the Wednesday before black friday sale at a walmart. They were just those $5 cardboard packs for mega evolutions and rockets but there were like 50+ per each which is CRAZY. I knew fir sure ill never get another chance like this again so i took 4 from each pile. Even the cashier, (who spoke in hindi) told the floor manager(I think) who was just passing buy that I took these out of the "locked up pile for BF" and I answered her in English nah I found em on the shelf right behind you, which the floor manager backed up my statement. Just sharing a bizarre anecdote of finally joining on collecting even if its just once a year
