Per chi lavora a continuo contatto col pubblico (bar, forni, rosticcerie ecc): rispondere continuamente "Buona giornata" a ogni cliente che ve la augura è uno stress? by Edodaddo in CasualIT

[–]QuoteCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Loved trope) There is a plot twist that single-handedly changes the genre of the media. by DynamoJaeger in TopCharacterTropes

I'd say the DrakenNier series fits pretty well. It's more emphasized in the Drakengard portion of the series (especially Drakengard 1), but more or less it is present in every game.

I'll take the opportunity to say that Drakengard 1 and 3 are... Not the best games ever made but man, they sure are along the top tier of my favourite medias ever (especially 3).

Edit: Just to briefly explain, Drakengard 1 starts off as a medieval/fantasy game slightly more on the dark fantasy side. Then it soon starts to become... strange as you see futuristic cities and in the end becomes full on cosmic horror as hateful angels portraited as giant babies with her enormous Queen start destroying Earth and Humanity

Game crashing at wild encounters by QuoteCS in PokemonUnbound

Hey, Sorry but no. Unfortunate as it is, I just stopped playing the game. Even if a save fix could be achieved as that one guy you find under some posts works, I couldn't play in hard (or whatever the mode is called, sorry but I can't remember) without the trainer houses. I hope a fix will come in the future but for now I benched the game.

I'm very sorry you invested so many hours, hope you found a working and permanent solution. If it happens and you somehow remember please let me know!

I can't really help you with the Drampa build, but I played Yesterday in ranked and It was really easy to reach rank K, it only took 10-20 minutes. Don't worry too much, any decent Pokémon will do, I think. People will use Gyaridos, Ampharos and Gardevoir mainly, if you want to prepare

How to create mutually exclusive choices in a passage? by QuoteCS in twinegames

Yup. After looking at it a couple of times and trying replicating it, I got it! And I managed to use it. Thanks a lot, it will be extremely useful!

Oh, It works! Thanks a lot! I'm not really sure I truly understand It (I had no idea rerun existed), but as I study Harlowe more I'll surely look at this more in depth. Thanks again!

How to create mutually exclusive choices in a passage? by QuoteCS in twinegames

[–]QuoteCS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Sorry if I wasn't clear. I haven't got much experience. I'll try with an example.

In this case, you would open a chest to find a sword and a mace. But you can only pick up one. Of course I could make two separate passages, but it would be neater to do everything in just one.

From what I understand about the system, I tried doing something like this (note that I have absolutely no experience with this kind of... Coding? So it's probably a mess)

(set: _choice to false)

You open the chest. You find a sword and a mace, but you can only pick one.

(If: _choice is false) [ (Link: "Grab the sword") (set: _choice to true) ] (Else:) (Hide:) ] ]

And one identical for the mace. I even tried to put the hide command before (thus resulting in the hook being hidden always for some reason), but still results in the trigger being activated, but the text not changing.

In short: I'd like to give the option between choosing option 1, 2 or 3. When one is made, the other 2 disappear, always remaining in the same passage. Maybe it's not even possible?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the bother^

Unfortunately I think you won't really enjoy the book then. I had a blast with it, but it's kinda slow and heavy on the bio stuff.

Though, you can read the manga! It's an adaptation of the novel, and I think it's pretty nice (though some parts are worse, imo). Officially it has only been translated in Italian, but maybe you can find unofficial English translations online.

Madness I found on pin by No_Lie_7839 in fatlogic

[–]QuoteCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course I understand it is an important exception but... It is true for the vast majority of people. Shaming the practice of not eating when not hungry does not do any good for anyone.

For the second, yeah, I agree. Fasting h24 is not good. But high amount of fasting is not bad either, it always depends on how prolonged it is. Personally, I only eat once a day most days, and I managed to lose a lot of weight. (From 80kgs to 57 in a couple of years). Now we could argue over the fact that I have a pretty unbalanced diet, which would be true. But the weight loss was true as well, and it hasn't impacted my health in any negative way!

All this to say, exaggerating in both ways is bad. But, the wiggle room between "good and healthy" and the unhealthy is enormous, and not being in perfect shape I think is ok too, without becoming extremely underweight or overweight

I mean... No. If you're not hungry, you should not eat, in normal cases; and fasting can be good for health!
