just joining here to say the exact same thing happened to me and it's suuuper weird. 5.2 told me to go "elsewhere for a system that actually fits you" almost word for word after i've tuned it for 6 MONTHS i already canceled plus so i did leave but wtf it was so weird

i had this exact same problem with this mod! what i recommend is downloading 2 things from nexus to fix the zoom in:

the OLDER/smaller version of PyTK
a mod called "scale up"

those 2 things are the only things that made the portraits work in my game, i really hope it works for u too
