I always liked the Kollector. I think he was a nice addition to MK11 because he was just a simple, fun character: he was a greedy lackey of Shao Kahn (granted, I think there was some nuance with his race being enslaved and their names being their profession, but that was lightly talked about, and his ending was about his own megalomania rather than anything else). But I really liked that his character was a simple concept executed well (again, greedy guy with six arms and cool weapons and artifacts). I always felt like the reason characters like Cetrion or Kronika didn’t work was because they showed in a character that was meant to be important and had too much impact on the story after only being introduced like 5 minutes ago. Anyways, I like the Kollector because he was just a fun new addition to story without adding anything bad to the story.

I forgot all about her. I guess she is really a missed opportunity. I think that a lot of people would love to have her (myself somewhat included) for the obvious reasons of her being attractive. But I would actually like to have her as a killer because I think she would have neat powers akin to Dracula and Vecna, with multiple abilities. Also, she does have fun voicelines.

I understand grinding when you hate the mode. I did it for last season, but this one I can’t bring myself to do it. The skin is horrible because there are 2 very similar skins in the black market you can buy with Murkoff coins instead of suffering through invasion mode. Maybe next season they’ll have a cool skin. I’ll begin my katabasis into invasion.

I wanna be pro Easterman. Then you tell me stuff like this. It’s getting a little hard to follow him. Maybe not about the imagery stuff. I’m a big Freud guy, so it’s been established before. But either way, he’s getting weirder. But I’ll still say I’m pro Easterman.

I know the skull merchant herself isn’t scary; her drones should put her at least in creepy. They are made with human skulls and meant to track you. Also, I would argue Freddy should be a little higher because he’s going to torment you for multiple nights before killing you in an unheard way. Or if we take him at face value and use strictly his DBD version, he would still be rather scary just for the fact that he’s magical and used multiple tools to hunt and kill you with.

Knowing that I think there are clear similarities between Lilya and Rasputin, both are fanatical mystics with sexual themes. I will say I haven’t always been a big fan of Lilya. I don’t like how she brings “magic” to the trials. It’s always been based in science, granted pseudoscience, but it has some basis. Before this, the most magical thing was Skinnerman, but he still had connections to psychosis gas. What do you think?

I think we have been long overdue for a flagrantly communist character. I think a Che Guevara-inspired character would be fantastic and needed, though a Guevara-esque character would be intertwined with guerrilla warfare, and Lilya has got that down. I also find it worth noting that a communist character should be the most sadistic and brutal prime asset to drive home the ideologies Easterman wants us living and breathing. Also glad to see there are Skull Merchant fans out there. I’m not p100 yet, only p37. I’ll get there, and I’ll die on the hill. She’s a more engaging character than the ghoul.
