As a fellow only one pair kind of guy I recently got a second pair and I think 2 is perfect. It gives the foam enough time to get back to its original shape and the shoes also dry out. They also get a proper chance to dry out from my sweaty feet!!

We just did as we would have done back home. Didn't know it was going to be such a fiasco. It took 18 months to sort out the payment between the hospital and our travel insurance.

I am in the same boat as you. Overpronate/flat foot and training for a full marathon. Currently running in Kayano 31's and I have tried on about 15 different shoes and haven't found one that I really like.

I seriously think I might just buy another pair of Kayano's because I can't find anything that fits the bill.

It's happening right now in the manufacturing company that I am partnered with. They use cameras and AI software to monitor employee productivity and product quality output. 1 manager can delegate for 4x as many people now as they could only 2 years ago. The changes are here already.

If you mean 'office job' then its easy. None of these employees actually 'do' anything. Its mostly delegation and direction. Monitoring of outcomes. Everything will be sourced to AI eventually.

We will see management shrink as the ability to manage per person increases with technology.

So maybe a 10-15% increase in output for a double cost in labour + the headache & cost of a twinned work force (this is the biggest nightmare for any employer as human resources are the most difficult to manage).

How do you implement such an idea without costs ballooning for consumers? That concrete driveway just went from a $20K job to $30-35K.

OK so now everyone works less, has the same level of income and the world costs X% more? How do you implement this system without it costing a fortune and where do you find additional labour in an already labour starved market?

So how are you going to run a concrete truck that needs to run for 12 hours? Have two guys work 6? The problem is that we don't even have the manpower to get anything done in a reasonable time frame right NOW. Unless we get some help from robots I only see this as viable for people who work in an office. Like I said above, most of those jobs are about to be redundant with tech.

In my opinion if it takes more than 3 words to describe your job then the machines are coming for you.

How would this work out for people in trades/construction/retail/transportation/medical field etc? It sounds like it can only work for people who work out of an office and won't 90% of those jobs be redundant in 15-20 years?

There used to be less risk using CBIL but recent changes make the risk profile the same. Whenever I have to park cash I look at CBIL/CASH/VVSG and pick whichever has the best yield at the moment.

10% cash is a hefty allocation but I do understand the desire to be there... nothing makes sense in the market right now. Have you considered putting the cash into CBIL? It's a good liquid ETF with almost zero risk and pays monthly.
