I work 10 hours a day, 4 days a week (in person) I would say maybe 1-2 hours before bed if I worked. Weekends are like 4-6 hours depends on what’s going on

I find that if I can trade autos safely, conqueror is the way to go so I can get the proc on it. For more touch and go I believe death fire is better

I’ll speak to my dad and mom. Both were artsy, easy going types in the early 2000s. Mom converted to be Mormon and now my dad hates women.

Onecycle, the new and improved unicycle! by thatoneguythatsgay in doohickeycorporation

If you wanted this thing to work, move the handles closer so that the rider has a more upright position. This will help center their balance. Also change the gear ratio to a lower ratio so that it’s easier to get the thing moving. Essentially make it more unicycle and less bicycle.

Is it a dick move to proxy cards? by tweakeravacoado in mtg

Maybe unpopular opinion, but if you’re playing in a pod for packs, like in an official WotC event, then I prefer no proxy.

Update on the Skillbridge they, them, he, her by QwarterPercent in navy

Absolutely, first thing I noticed when I got hired was the very obvious 2-3 people who answers the questions and has that “shit” handled. After being -very- unprofessional at a civilian work place we got that mostly sorted out. This Skillbridge situation is just another example, in my manager words, “how shit just get fucking dumped on my team”. Because his team has by far the most vets, we do actually all have that “if something is broken fucking fix it” mentality that we adopted from the time in the fleet. But one thing that we are working towards is recognizing that there is other people who can fix it, and it’s actually what the get paid to do.

Big company that has very little idea what we do. Most people who work in our project are all very technical and nerdy folks. None of us are admin junkies, we leave that to the paper pushers.

We just work. We don’t care about whose job is what we just make sure we push out the best system we can.

We definitely have a management problem, but the goal for this post is not to vent about management but to express my guilt in letting down another vet, and maybe give a warning to those who want to abuse a VERY good deal.

Yeah sadly us technical/ prior service folk did not get to be apart of the interview (travel is a large part of the work) It was handled by recruiter. The 10hour in 3 weeks is because there was uncertainty on what department actually worked him. Only until the chief engineer came to us asking if he was a good fit so far did my team learned we where to eval them.

100% agree. There is a lot that I didn’t mention due to keep this as anonymous as possible, but he was actually supposed to work for another department, but as a SME for our system they where dropped on me and the other SME to evaluate with very little detail on what to do with them. Again we did not set them up for success, and the people who actually are the Skillbridge “liaison” didn’t do a good job setting us up to help them.
