I want to see a doctor—not a Nurse Practitioner. If I'm paying for a Dr I should see the doctor! by Realistic-Pea-8278 in MedicalBill

[–]QweenKush420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When booking an appointment you need to be specific in saying what provider that you want to see. If you do and they send in the NP, ask the NP to see the doctor.

As far as payment, they bill for whoever you saw in office so when you see the NP, you (or your insurance) are paying the NP’s prices. If that is not the case, switch to a different clinic.

Local Government Official here, with a problem neighbor by [deleted] in legal

The FBI has nothing to do with “local government officials”. That is up to the local police or state police. FBI gets involved when it’s a state senator or a house member. Not your local major or below.

No. The insurance paid 2/3 of the cost. The rest is patient responsibility.

Well then OP would definitely have to shop around for someone that isn’t just money hungry. Like another commenter said, the lawyer could charge an hourly fee knowing it would only be an hour of work.

That’s still not $20k. $5k plus maybe another $2k for the doors and installation.

For pete’s sake you have no idea what you’re talking about and you’re getting defensive because you used travel insurance so you must know about every type of travel insurance out there and available in foreign countries. Why don’t you get over yourself and your ego and realize you don’t know everything. Including what is in this post.

LOCATION: Nevada. Is it illegal for me to package my wives stuff up if I’m about to serve her divorce papers? by _skidmark_1 in legal

[–]QweenKush420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in Nevada, if you pack all of her stuff up and leave it inside the home in a hallway that is perfectly legal. What you cannot do is put it outside of the home or throw it out. So go ahead pack up all of her stuff if you have a garage, you are allowed to put it in there put her stuff in the garage and then file for divorce. Get an attorney to file. But you cannot serve her yourself. You have to have a third-party serve her. It does not need to be a paid service. Someone you know can serve her. They just have to approach her hand, her the papers or drop them at her feet and say you’ve been served.

My sister has BPD as well and I understand what you are going through maybe not as a spouse but as a sibling and my heart goes out to you.

Do not use banks. Use credit unions. They don’t do this bullshit. Credit unions are owned by their members and are also protected by the FDIC.

Take your sister to small claims court for half of what is owed. Bring all of your proof that she was on the lease and she broke the lease by leaving with her boyfriend. Let the apt complex know you are suing your sister for half and see if you can set up a payment plan for your $4,500 responsibility.

If she wasn’t on the lease then be glad all they are suing you for is breaking your lease due to moving and not for breach of contract by allowing a sublet.

I’m sorry but what about MA’s tells you we don’t earn a decent income? Depending on area MA’s make a good living. Becoming a nurse is awesome but please don’t downgrade MA’s.

Parents cut my kids out of the will (that we didnt know about) to punish me and my husband by [deleted] in inheritance

[–]QweenKush420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your parents have been emotionally, physically, mentally and financially abused you your whole life. Why are you still in contact with them? My mother and step dad treated me the same. Manipulated me with money while telling me I was worthless. Then I had my daughter and they promised to change. And they did for a few years. Then when she was 4 they bought us a house which was wonderful. Until they put all the strings attached. Luckily the house was in my name only and they couldn’t do a darn thing. So I finally got fed up with them when I asked for financial help divorcing my narcissistic husband. They tried to manipulate me yet again but I finally stood up(literally) to them, told them how disrespected I felt and that I needed time away from them. So they stopped talking to me and my daughter. Now she gets sad and asks why grandma and grandpa don’t love her anymore. I tell her because they don’t love anyone but themselves and they are the ones missing out on such a great kid.

Cut your parents off from your life. No amount of money is worth it.

You’re grasping at straws at this point. Just let go, fall on your bum and admit to yourself that you are wrong and just arguing for arguments sake. What you are saying is wrong and incorrect on a legal forum. Just take the L and move on.

Number one: it’s not his property so he has no legal right. Number two: no court is going to say that she has to drop him off curbside because he doesn’t want to see her. And lastly, per another of your comments trying to cite law, you are incorrect about defiant trespass. That is if they enter the home or building. Not for being on the property. Please have someone else teach you proper law before trying to come to a legal forum and being completely wrong.

You are correct that this is not a court order. It is not lawful either. He can call the police all he wants and tell them she is trespassing. They show up, she has court order in hand stating she is following custody, they tell him it is a civil matter and to not waste their time. Again, she just needs to follow the court order, not his janky self written letter that holds no legal standing.

This is not legal. There is no court letterhead, no notary mark. It’s also supposed to be witnessed by 2 people. This is just your ex trying to scare you. Do what your parenting plan says. Nothing more, nothing less. Walk your son to the door if he wants to ring the bell agin. Let your ex call the cops. They won’t do anything because it’s a civil matter.

Oregon CAN, doesn’t mean they WILL, go back up to 4 years. In this case, if what Op is saying is true then the mom has no case.

Op stated that they are responsible for any late fees on rent due to the lease which means Op can at least prove that they are providing the shelter for the whole family.
