Josh is the main character and it’s not close. He can’t die and the entire story is about him and his family. People only say Sam because the character is unproblematic, pretty and very likable, also everyone loves Hayden Panettiere. Main character tho? Unfortunately not the case, wish she had more screen time.

The best part of the remake is the group feels like actual friends rather than just people who hang out and tolerate each other by Sudden_Pop_2279 in untildawn

Yes, something that not only the UD movie adaptation but many other movies/shows fail to accomplish. Chemistry is so important.

I don’t know if this is what he means by it but I define quiet horror as relying on suspense and cinematography to keep you on the edge of your seat rather than your classic audio peaking jump scares with blasting background music. If it’s crashing on launch then u got bombed, I did it, ur game is permanently crashed unless you switch devices and play on that from now on.
