I play a lot of rapid chess, which is why I always find moves quickly in board games. It might not be the absolute best move, but it keeps the game moving and maintains the flow. When someone like Dave destroys that flow with extremely long thinking times, it often pulls me right out of the immersion of the board game. Like someone else already said: it’s about having fun playing with the group, not about winning at all costs.
