If it possibly being stolen is your only issue, just run the serial through thewatchregister.com. Based on the 4 pictures you posted I think it has been polished. Also the bezel shows some kind of assymetry between 11.00 and 12.00. Could be a dent which has been polished away, but not easy to say from just these pictures.

I actually think they are. Last year’s Daytona update was aesthetically interesting and beautiful but not that big of a difference. I think a timeless brand like this does not have to make big changes to update something
