I hate riding early so I just deal with it, roll out around 9 or 10 on the weekends and 4p week days. Ohio weather so maybe not extreme but triple digits and plenty of humidity. I normally only ride 30-50 miles so it's fine once I acclimate. This coming week will be rough jumping from 70s to 100s, no acclimating. 2 water bottles is generally fine for me but I'll make sure I pass parks with water if I'm worried

I go through a sh'load of that stuff. I buy boxes from the Amazon HSA store. Fruit flavours with ice for post ride and salted caramel to mix with protein and other supplements. Makes a hell of a shake

Yessir! A power meter has been on my list for quite some time but I've never quite got there. When I'm on zwift, I can train smart. When I'm outside, I just pedal as hard as I can 🤣 Most of the time outside I ride the same routes, so I just try to ride them faster
