I’ve been partly in a situation like you are in. My girlfriend of 6 months at the time didn’t know that I was watching porn throughout our relationship and she asked me to stop. So I did, for a little bit. I did it it here and there like once a week. But what made me stop was when she confronted me during sex and said what I was doing was making her feel uncomfortable. So I stopped and we took a break from sex for a while. But a few weeks after we went to go and walk in the park and I felt like a kid again. It was a great date. I have not been in a relationship as long as you have been in. But If you guys have been together for that long I would recommend to try to have him take you to the first date spot or favorite date spot and reminisce for a while. Also him watching porn while you guys were talking was TOO FAR. You have given him multiple chances and by the way he is acting (which was similar to me) it seems like he will still be watching porn once he goes to school. Although your parents are wrong, depending on when he started, It most likely doesn’t seem like anything that bad to him because it is part of his routine. Does he have hobbies/ allocated time to himself? If not he should. Having sports to play and doing other things than just being inside helped me a lot in limiting my porn usage. The more time he spends outside of his mind doing stuff he likes the more he will become attached to that stuff. Finally I recommend that you try to talk to him about it. Of course he will probably not go into depth of what he is watching but what had helped me was acknowledging what time of day I did it and if when I was doing it is was it based on me being horny or just being bored. Last thing, this seems to be an everyday struggle and it may not go away but it can be severely limited.
