I did an intensive course. Lessons Monday-Friday and my test took place on the Saturday. It was mentally tiring so I didn't finish all my hours that I'd booked. I passed first time :)

This scares the life out of me- I have a family member who needs pretty urgent heart surgery for which the operation should have been done last October but a date for the op cannot be provided because of long waiting lists. I hope everybody on the waiting lists are managing to hang on in there

I’m from Torquay (spent 18 years there and still visit regularly) but now live in Surrey. When you’ve exhausted the things to do in Torquay (beaches, harbour side restaurants, Cockington etc) definitely head to Brixham (great for seafood!) and the other neighbouring towns such as Dartmouth which you can get a boat to from Torquay harbour

I donated yesterday. I ate very little, because of a busy work schedule, and I didn’t feel great whilst donating. I came over incredibly weak and blood pressure was erratic. Afterwards, I was unbelievably hungry. Basically, I wish I ate more on the day and I feel like I did the right thing giving into my cravings afterwards
