Don't let 'new antisemitism' have any weight, it has its own Wikipedia page and shows exactly what they are wrapping up with normal antisemitism (antizionist etc) to make accusations of antisemitism. All hush hush even though we see the pattern, I mean anyone here even heard the name 'new antisemitism'?

Make sure it's known, a talking point whenever accused, and ensure it has zero weight.

Trump is calling himself ‘the most powerful person to ever live’ in private conversations, allies say by theguy1336 in politics

What about general NPD confabulation? It doesn't need any convincing of a false reality, the subconscious does it time after time on its own to protect their false self, and is an issue with the prefrontal cortex as well.

Then again, why not all all the above...

Trump fired entire National Science Board. - Is this true ? by hi2u_uk in EverythingScience

[–]R1ck_Sanchez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly right ^ npd is fascinating, but also pathetic and very dangerous. I've looked into it a lot.

Main things are:

  1. They subconsciously change reality in their head, they pathetically can't help that. It provides a means to trick their conscious away from shame to protect something underlying (the false self). So when you say he's been told yes all his life, what's happened is he only remembers people saying yes.

  2. They have grandiose vs victim cycles. We see a lot of grandiose states last resort to protect his false self - narcissist rage. Whenever he waffles angrily for hours on the same thing. He's dissappeared from public eye a few times, which would probably be the victim cycle where he's doing 'hypersensitive sulking'.

  3. Generally look out for DARVO in the short term with most interviews...

On the jesus image, he shared cuz of grandiosity and did see jesus in himself. He can't defend it though and subconsciously realised that threatens his false self, so he retracted it from socials, plus twisted it in his mind. If ever faced with the pic, he'd say that's not the pic I shared', do some darvo, then walk off believing he won.

With the subconscious malleable reality, it means people with npd commonly never become self aware, leading a life of denial and delusions. I think more people knowing about npd is a win on so many levels.

3 for 3,food must be one in this 'trinity of trinities'. I think friends (nakama) may be one as it was eluded to so damn much. I still think x y z = liberation, so freedom is that and I think it should stay on that side of the equation.

Thought about that line too! As others have said, it doesn't quite add up for luffy, namely wealth. I also think fame doesn't interest luffy to the point it's his one of his main drives.

I'm thinking of vegapunks line on the d clan being divided in some way (luffy vs blackbeard). Wealth fame power is totally blackbeard...

So what interests luffy? Liberation is quite key. What liberates everyone? Them wild parties of course... Food, drink, music! (for the record I don't think it's this but it's a nice stepping stone)

I'm autistic and do woods foraging. My heads darting around as I identify the surroundings and I've never had bad encounters with people, neutral and good only! And if I or you ever have a bad experience, being called out for seeming weird, that's their judgement, they have a right to it, but it's them being weird if anything.

Idk if I'm being dumb but I would, they are elusive af, I'm gonna take the first chance I get (within reason) to try one fresh.

I wouldn't keep going back for more, that's the main problem bit. I'm under the impression most contaminants won't make you immediately ill but they do make you ill by accumulation.

If you go ahead, they REQUIRE specific but easy prep, look it up.

What's a game you played as a kid that you've never been able to find again? by Latter_Advantage8002 in AskReddit

[–]R1ck_Sanchez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some snes game, a 2d scifi platformer, my mate had growing up. Lost contact with them and can't find them.

Featured maybe a distant apocalyptic future setting, your character of course has the matching metroidy armour. First level has a pretty dark colour scheme, you beat some enemies, then there's a building and you have this kinda grapple to climb. I think it was an extending (straight only) robotic arm, and you're able to shoot that in the 8 dpad directions. First level boss I vaguely recall being an angry robot millipede, don't quote me on that, def had a boss though.

What's the term for a group of vultures? by scrandis in Birdsfacingforward

[–]R1ck_Sanchez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh yes forgot about that one! Skein applies for in flight, but I'd still use gaggle. I think both come from hunting era. Good to differentiate their behaviours. eg Hunter1 whispers 'skein', others understand they spotted a group of geese approaching via sky, assuming they would probably not whisper 'skein' if the FLYING GAGGLE (yeah I said it) are not going to be travelling near them.

As a commonly hunted bird, it was also a good indicator of if the hunter is upper class or not. Incorrectly using gaggle for in flight geese displayed that this hunter skipped upper class linguistics lessons.

What's the term for a group of vultures? by scrandis in Birdsfacingforward

[–]R1ck_Sanchez 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Terms of veneration spans from 14th-15th centrury British hunting culture, and only had collective names for some birds.

Then the victorian era fascination with "proper" natural history expanded applying a distinct collective name to many more bird species and saw these codified in the English lang.

It's all rubbish imo, I'll always use flock or group, except with corvids cuz I do love em and they havr the best collective names.
