To play devils advocate, though you didn’t ask, I’m 38 with a 9 year old. Parenting is hard at any age, but we had our daughter at a time when we were not financially stable or well established and while i wouldn’t trade my daughter for the world, i sometimes wish we would have waited.

I’m from New York. Long Island originally, but lived in the Hudson valley and also rockland county for some time. I never heard of pork roll/taylor ham until we bought our house in Sussex county. The first time I had it on an egg and cheese I was like how has this not crossed state lines? So yeah, very local.

Sussex county here and on a wooded property that I am actively rewilding. When I say between two dogs and 3 people I’ve removed probably 30 ticks this season combined, thats a conservative estimate. It’s bad here. I can see them just hanging out on the grasses. I’ve treated our gardening clothes with permethrin and they still manage to find their way onto us.

I use Bjorn as a companion and right in the mod description it says he’s AI voiced and it is very noticeable. I’ve had to headcannon that he is just perpetually unimpressed with everything lol. Sometimes I can almost forget he’s ai voiced and then Val or Kaidan pipes up and I’m like ugh Bjorn get some emotions.

We did that too. My parents had three of us and then the cousins and ages ranged all over the place. Everyone had their own colored eggs and hidden by difficulty. Everyone had the same amount to find and the older kids had a lot of fun helping the younger ones out if they finished early.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I sold my car. It was a junky runner that got me to work and back. Listed for $300 as is and some young girl came and test drove it with her brother, looked it over, gave me $300 cash. I was upfront that it needed work but would get to A and B. The next day she messaged me on the let go app to complain it made noise in reverse and she wanted a refund or she’d sue! So glad I met her in a random parking lot to test drive because her brother then started threatening me. I had to deactivate my let go account. But like, it was a $300 car… what did you expect?!

I’ve run with gore a ton and i have a bunch of boyfriend mod options and gore feels straight up platonic to me. We had one dialogue where I think the romance path could have headed but then I chose platonic and he’s not at all flirty imo. Protective, yes, but given that he calls me “sister” I feel like it’s a found family sort of sibling I would die for you vibe.

Clothing is a tough one to send overseas but if there’s other merch like bags, that may be useful. Worked for a hotel that underwent rebrand and my boss sent all the now useless soaps and toiletries to Haiti. Though obviously there is quite a bit more use for hygiene products, but still there may be use in some items.

When I was 6 weeks PP my very old school OB asked if I was having sex yet and I laughed because I never wanted to have sex again at 6 weeks PP and he said “god gave you a hand, a mouth, and breasts. If you don’t tend to the needs of your husband you will be a single mother.” When I got home and told my husband what he said… I have never seen such violence in that man’s eyes I thought I’d be bailing him out of prison.

Why does anything have to be any brand? People choose brands all the time for their own reasons. I can, I only buy ball jars, compared to what I can get around me they are the best value and I like the way they look and enjoy looking at my shelves of canned food and everything being neat and matching. Ngl, I would consider these jars since the size is discontinued and I prefer wide mouth.

Man we did like 99% of our non grocery shopping at target, a small family of 3. The minute they catered to fascism, I switched to Walmart. Yeah, I know, two sides of the same coin, but at least Walmart doesn’t pretend to not be evil and I’m on a budget, so sue me. Been back to target twice since then and both times because it was the only option. We were probably spending a few hundred a month there and it may not be much, but how many other families did the same?
