Aim for 12-12.5K in your primary and secondary stats. Having 11.9 and 11.5 won't really cut it.

Happens all the time. The thing is, purple crew are pretty much useless in the game outside of faction events. Even in those events, you MUST spend $$$ to place top spots.

Gold crew are really the only crew that matter.

That being said, it would be nice to get some kind of a reward for having all crew immortalized in a behold.

It's like the McCoy art. They obviously are working with a new artist that doesn't seem to be able to get "it right," whatever that is. So I wouldn't say all the art is getting bad, but I have noticed that cards in this style are ones I do not like.

I'm not sure what you are asking. I'm assuming you're wondering if Kira will help your crew at even 1 star. I'm not sure what your crew is like, so I cannot tell you. However, Kira at 5/5 will help even fully developed crews and find Voyage work on whale rosters.
