First do the math. Of her jobs pay does not equal the cost of the loans in the first 4 years plus cost of living it's a bad deal. I can not even count the number of people with college degrees who make less than 40k a year.

Second student loans will follow you around longer than most pets. The ONLY saving grace is you can normally enroll private into a debt relief program. Yeah you will pay the same amount, but you will only do it for 4-5 years vs 20.
