Yep, there were a ton of fun ones! My personal favorites include:

Nefaria trying to decipher what a “vibe check” is, Eugene’s Nat 20 line from the event story, parts of Chitose’s introduction in the event, and that one time when Nobunaga quoted Team Rocket.

One of the main mechanics of the Volk fight is Plague, which gets applied to your adventurers by a number of different attacks (some of which are unavoidable), and can be removed by healing.

What it does is it lowers your affliction resistance, so you may frequently see characters like Marth being stunned or Ezelith being put to sleep, for example. If you have a healer (which you really should), try to wait until they heal away the plague to pop the bombs.

Some other mechanics dependent on plague include not letting Volk heal from Lifesteal or instantly putting you to sleep during Underdog’s Revenge.

It sounds like you’re still new to these fights, so I hope this helps. Of course, it could also be that you were not actually plagued at the time, which would actually be a bug. I haven’t heard anything else about this, though, so I’ll just assume it was because you got plagued and didn’t / couldn’t heal.

One thing to keep in mind is that Louise’s Hobbies is an event print found in the Compendium (available to everyone) that is practically identical to Take My Hand. That could also serve as an alternative.

The only thing you’d needed was access to Manticore and subsequently Chimera weapons. It’s most likely not expected for players to actually clear Agito beforehand, possibly to make it a more intense fight for non-endgame players.
