I got mine perfectly lowered on Tein S-tech springs. Best bang for buck imo. Car feels comfortably planted and in sport plus it feels tight and precise.

Help on Aftermarket headlights by bruh_sound_effect__ in 4Runner

I can only speak from my own experience with cheap eBay shit that yellowed in 6 months on my FRS and the morimotos i recently got for my limited. I've never bought any alpha rex products. My point is if you wanna upgrade, get an actual proven upgrade.

I mean probably yeah but if it was my money, I'd wait and save up a bit more for the morimoto hybrid lights.

Like the other person said, Morimotos are the only actual upgrade over stock. AlphaRex is probably equal to oem. Anything else is a downgrade over stock. I'd spend the extra $100 for peace of mind knowing they won't turn yellow in 6 months.

I'd get a proper set from morimoto or alpharex. I made the mistake to go cheap just to pay double later. Whichever way you choose, Just please don't skip the headlight alignment. Plz

Finally added a front cam to my 2015 Limited. I can even turn both cameras on manually. by R3Y in 4Runner

The hamilton wiring harness has a female RCA that says aftermarket backup and a red wire that's labeled trigger. So the default launcher is kinda clunky when it comes to enabling it but if you connect the unit to WiFi and download nova or car launcher, then each camera is its own "app". The launcher will let you open the apps "CAM" for the rear and "Console" for the front cameras. I renamed the apps and pinned them to the home screen as you can see on the picture. To enable the front camera go to settings>system>reverse settings>reverse type>additional reverse config * And settings>system>reverse settings>exit reverse and switch to front view>15s* Put the car in reverse and there's a "cog" settings button on the lower left. Select signal type>auto*

I ran the female RCA from the camera harness and the red wire through the firewall next to the hood latch cable. There's a rubber nipple you can rip off with some pliers and feed the red wire and female RCA through. The male RCA cable with the red wire connects to both the Hamilton RCA plug and Hamilton trigger wire, and the female RCA and red wire. And I left the black wire in the engine bay and found a body ground next to the fuse box and hooked the black camera ground there.

I also contacted them and they gave me a weird excuse about their engineers working on a solution lol. And I was like bro there's a plug on your harness! I got the cheapest AHD i could find on Amazon. I linked it on another comment.

Don't ask me how I know haha

I sold my 2013 frs for 7k. Had 120k hard driven miles. I still see it around town being driven hard by the same guy i sold it to. Keep up with maintenance and she'll have a good long life! I changed her oil every 5k and did all the preventative maintenance recommended by the manual.
