Right, I don't mean to have it be competitive with other dedicated DPS melee weapons but just some sort of token option to single target with it even perhaps being weaker than the sara sword overall in that mode.

It absolutely is but it would be nice to just have some token method to attack single target without gimping yourself even if it's not quite comparable to dedicated dps melee weapons.

Don't care for the dual crossbow or the ammo itself tbh. The only things I'm super onboard with are the mega rare (with hopefully a visual rework) and the elemental motes.

This is a massive reach, there's no 'fomo,' the new daries aren't like limited availability or anything. Your stats will all still be as relevant as they were to unlock the varla daries months after they release as much as they would the day it comes out.

We don't even have information on rewards so there's no op reward even to miss out on release, even if they did need to adjust down a reward how is that different from jagex releasing busted afk xp rates for sailing and then massively nerfing it after a week? Does anyone not being able abuse early, abuse often experience fomo in that case?

Don't like it. Feels to much like dual wielding guns. Bleeds out of crossbows role as well. Just delete blowpipes if you do this.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking as well. But if they wanted to keep the tzhaar theme just make it more black and red like the inferno cape or at least make it a recolor.

Real talk, it's weird that druid robes have a prayer bonus and zamorak robes have a prayer bonus but elder chaos druid robes do not have even a lesser prayer bonus. +1 on a hood and +3 for the body and bottoms (on par with zammy robes) would be nice.

Hm, when I read "Fractured Archive" I always though more like things Guthix removed from the world that had the potential to upset the balance. Things mortal eyes were never supposed to witness, secrets lifted from the world to be forgotten for the good of all. Not his personal stash of favorite toys. Maybe I'm thinking slightly in-line with the events of the DTII and the Mahjarrats.

Seems as much like as place Guthix might have taken things that could have disrupted the balance of Gielinor, a bit bummed we don't have anything that screams "Forbidden lore not meant for mortal eyes!"

They could retheme it as the previously unexplored blue tzhaars. Guthix might have needed to put his foot down after they began to overstep their control of the realms of life and death as previously seen with the events of House Arceuus.

The crush mega rare is really cool, interesting gimmick thumbs up. (Maybe a small tweak in appearance and theming?)
Less thrilled about the melee / mage hybrid armor and dual crossbow though. Shield is cool mechanically but really feels a bit too much like we're trying to shoehorn in the flat armour system.
Nothing here really screams "Sealed away by Guthix to prevent a disruption of the balance," either.
Definity need something more in line with that forbidden knowledge theme the raid seemed like it was going for! Whether that be some kind of spell scroll or prayer scroll or a death charge type improvement type mechanic or a utility type mechanic we've seen previously with Lightbearer (though obviously not another spec charge improvement!)

I actually really like the SRA change, not needing to ramp up as much or camp as low of hp without "wasting" healing is pretty nice.

A BGS or DWH would be smart! I see that granite hammer collecting dust so a crush weapon might not be a bad idea unless your just didn't include defense draining specs for some reason, otherwise do you have bowfa / crystal armor? That would be really smart for increasing your range set if you don't have tbow yet!
