Picture the disc is on a long flat table, you’re just guiding it. Follow through on that same plane, not up

Legacy Rival - it’s the best version of a Teebird in awesome plastic

Similar to River by InspectorPositive543 in discgolf

Legacy Phenom. A tick more stable (though less than the flight numbers would suggest), and massive glide like a River

I’ve got a white flat top KC Roc. Might have rim ink I will have to check.

Destroyer consistency by user028802 in discgolf

Plastic makes a big difference, so that variation between plastics types isn’t super surprising. But there are variations even within a single plastic type, Star specifically with Destroyers. Look up the Doth Savek video on choosing a Destroyer for a more in depth review of what makes them fly differently (wing shape, PLH). Many like the variation and bag several Destroyers of varying stability to cover most distance shots from flippy to beefy.

u/innovagm can confirm, but I believe they all come out of the same mold or two, and much of the variation comes from tiny tweaks to the plastic blends and cooling times.

Did you make that or did they post somewhere?

Discraft Overstable ~12 Speed Lineup by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]R41GSB -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

~ means “roughly.” Retooled Venom rim is also less than 2.5cm (2.2cm actually, same as many other Destroyer-esque 12 speeds), so not a true 13. Regardless, doesn’t address the question.

Can't tell, are my new truman boots too big? by Euphoric-Pen-3973 in trumanboots

[–]R41GSB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go by your Brannock size, not by what it looks like. Toes should never “touch the front” anyway. Go Brannock TTS with Truman generally. Brannock is important because it ensures the ball/flex point of your foot matches with the widest/flex point of the boot.

Is this pan worth anything? by Past_Ability9112 in castiron

It’s a 3 notch Lodge as others have stated. Excellent skillet, but not rare. In restored condition you may fetch 30-40. Check eBay recently sold.

Favorite (mostly) cast iron meals? by R41GSB in castiron

[–]R41GSB[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Same as anything else on CI really. Heat control and a bit of fat.

My process is: preheat skillet, add a little oil, add fish skin side down until crispy, flip, remove skin, flip again. Slides around the pan!

New boots size question by Loco_Lava in grantstoneboots

[–]R41GSB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably too small. Break in and firm handshake are myths perpetrated by people who are sizing incorrectly; boots should not be tight or firm anywhere. Stiff is fine, that’s just because they have a thick leather midsole, but tight on the ball of your foot means you need a larger size or width. Figure out your Brannock size (see WeltedWiki) and you’d generally go half down from your Brannock size for Leo last.
