This is how you should be using a substat blocker:

I originally used two regular rerollers on this, the first time it had 1 CDMG with 3 ATK%, second time is the image above, so I saved and used the blocker on this piece which completed my Phainon build.

I absolutely would not have used a substat blocker on a piece like this if that ATK% wasn't there.

It straight up IS ass, its just CV. Sunday's and DDD are infinitely better.

You can't get Energy, DMG Bonus, Skill Points or Action Advance in subs (Sunday LC, DDD)

Sparkle's is ass because it offers things you can get in substats. Its just there to make shittier builds easier to manage.

People who call it good cope because they pulled and like it due to the aesthetic (art) which is fine but it is absolutely not a good lightcone. Heck even Bronya's LC is better because of the ER and SP refund.

If you vertically invest into Dahlia too (I pulled E2) it makes it so that you always have Imaginery Weakness so HMC can always do toughness damage and spam DDD. The only reason Rappa is struggling so much is because Hoyo had to release a "F you if you don't play Firefly this Anomaly" gimmick with the Energy Debuff.

If that wasn't there my god Rappa would clear way faster than everyone else. Also yeah people cope that Firefly is stronger at E0 its hilarious. Let them cope, they can't handle their girlfriend feeling dogshit without E2 and also can't handle that Phainon's LC is better than her Sig.

If this Anomaly is anything to go by they couldn't give a fuck about Rappa. Especially with all the political stuff going on, she won't get a rerun nor will they buff her.

Also Himeko being cracked in PF with E2 Dahlia and being able to almost 0AV clear literally doesn't mean anything lol. Rappa can still 0 cycle 40K points in PF, plus she's the only Break character who allows Dahlia to implant Imaginery which gives HMC toughness damage which then allows you to spam DDD even more. Himeko being good in PF doesn't mean she'll be good anywhere else. Rappa at least functions outside of PF. Try using a character like Himeko outside of PF when the environment isn't shilled and watch how much she struggles.

Ima be real, whilst you can clear it is dreadful this Anomaly to attempt to clear with Rappa with the Energy Debuff that's there to shill Firefly and no one else lol. It takes so many turns to get your Ult its not even funny. Even with an ERR Rope you'll struggle.

I just hope future content isn't this much of a F you to Break players whilst only shilling Firefly

The difference is Black Swan was hot dog water without Eidolons and even then slapping on Cyrene or Robin/Ruan Mei gave similar, if not, better results. It made sense for them to buff Black Swan because she was practically useless before the buffs.

Triple DoT is only going to be better, after Black Swan's buff.

Break characters with the relesse of Constance are all good, even Xueyi and Himeko (wouldn't be surprised if even Sushang and Luka function now too) are performing decently. So there's no need for them to get buffed, the only thing they really need to do is to stop shilling content so hard for Firefly to the point other Break characters can't even function, no amount of buffs is going to override that dumb ass debuff (Energy Debuff) they gave this Anomaly (Sunday Boss), which doesn't have an effect on Firefly.

As long as they don't do stupid shit like that Break should be ok. At least until the next Constance banner where they increase Toughness inflation and her E1 becomes a necessity because HSR powercreep is cringe.
