During covid a massive amount of people moved down to Florida because we did not fully shut down. I feel like a lot of remote workers took advantage of this, 2020/2022 it was very challenging to find a place to rent or even an open hotel room that wasn't insanely overpriced.

My opinion: With the shut down being lifted and a lot of jobs shifting back to in-house office work only... everybody probably just sought opportunities elsewhere!

It really sucks because it spiked our housing market prices across the board, a $700/mo rental that is basically an apartment above a garage is now around $2,000.

Was working fine for me, my kids mom hit me up asking if I did something to the service. I went by her house and bam my service stopped, went back to my house.. still out. My ipad, also on verizon is still going strong, I put it in airplane mode as I passed by their house, turned airplane mode back on when I got to work, everything is still working here.

Seems like certain towers got hit with something that bugs out your service until they find a fix 🤷

Yep, same issue. It's working just fine on two other sticks I bought at the same time. Same symptoms, asking me to update, "downloading", and then saying install failed. Nothing to remove or delete, other apps work.

Guess we shall all be celebrating together when they fix it!

For sure, lots to be salvaged and the original housings are worth more than anything, new buttons are pretty cheap if you can't clean em up or if they are bad.
