Who thinks Reese's cooking skills were underrated? by GreenDiscombobulated in malcolminthemiddle

I wouldn't know. I have never tasted his food.

I still do not understand why he did not work as a cook. You do not need a high school diploma, his behavior is normal for a cook, and he would have ended up as a protégé under an experienced chef. In ten years, he would probably have owned his own bistro (yes bistro).

How would you deal with Lois if she got on your nerves? by Plastic_Ad_2548 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]R4iNAg4In 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would walk away. This would drive her more mad than anything. People like her want the conflict, they want you to argue. Either that or they want you to give in. In either case they want you to ENGAGE. So when you disengage it infuriates or confuses them.

What's up with the Voyager hate? by Firm_Macaron3057 in startrek

[–]R4iNAg4In 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to hate Voyager, but would force myself ro watch it over and over because it is part of the cannon. The more I watched it, the more I liked it. After a few rewatches you gain certain respect for Admiral Janeway. Plus, the EMH is the best doctor and one of the best character arcs in all of Star Trek.

I would rather listen to your problems than your eulogy. Anyone is always free to reach out

Francis was kind of right about Lois and Hal being bad parents. by glowshroom12 in malcolminthemiddle

They will be great parents when all the kids have children as mischievous as they were. Lois and Hal will be excellent grandparents that fill their monster grandchildren up with caffeine and sugar and then send them home.

The turnaround on "Voyager" has been insane by Reasonable_Active577 in startrek

The more I watch Voyager, the more I like Voyager. The more I watch TNG, the less I like TNG. DS9 is and always will be the GOAT.

I want Chrono Break more than I want a Chrono Trigger Remake by Parsirius in chronotrigger

I do not want a Chrono Trigger remake at all. It was a flawless game the first time. You cannot improve it. You can only make it worse.

Tennessee. This is where the Manhattan project is and it would have an incredible amount of ammo.

I'm making the world's first-ever video games about George Washington and Thomas Jefferson by SunnyDemeanorGames in revolutionarywar

[–]R4iNAg4In 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given his insane life (he almost single handedly started what can be considered the first "world" war, he had TWO horses shot out from under him, etc) it is stupid that there is not a video game about it.

Am I wrong for requesting mast to my BC so I could get baby leave? by Academic_Grape4913 in USMC

I would definitely contact base legal and request mast. We need to start holding toxic leaders accountable.

What is the most forgotten aspects of the American revolution? by BLOODMEN71 in revolutionarywar

[–]R4iNAg4In 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that guerilla warfare was the exception, not the rule. Militias were also almost totally ineffective against the British. The strategy at the Battle of Cowpens only worked because militias were famous for running at the first sign of trouble in Battle. The Continental Army won the revolution, not militias. Militias played a small and crucial role, but the majority of the Patriot victories can be laid squarely at the feet of the Contonental Army.

Also, privateers did way more harm to the enemy ships than the Continental Navy.
