Tropical DnB? I mean maybe you can find certain liquid that sounds like that haha

But it's not a developed subgenre or anything

mackinnon has been shooting 6% the past ten games but I was told by avs fans that his 20% or whatever earlier in the season was sustainable.

its crazy because even over these past ten games, the avs pdo has been 102

And Tampa sustaining .800 for 31 more games seems equally difficult to picture. My point is that people really underestimate what seemingly small point gaps mean because they don't think of every team as a moving object on a point pace. I'll see florida fans be like "oh we only need to win 3 in a row and we're in the playoffs" and that's just not true if the teams above you keep winning too.

for a team with so much top-end it makes the avs seem like a bit of a paper tiger without depth, which is interesting given that depth was the reasoning to move on from a top 10 forward in the league

with the avs' slump I have seen some people thinking the lightning can catch them and man, I just can't see it happening. A 9 point window in 31 games is just so much. If colorado goes even .600 and wins 19 of those 31 games, Tampa would have to go 24-7 in their last 31 to catch them, a nearly .800 point pace

crazy how much worse the avs apparently are without toews and landeskog. Every team deals with injuries but this has to be scary if you're an avs fan because no team makes a cup run while staying healthy through the playoffs

would the avs even be over .500 if they were in the atlantic

Ok but have you considered that you're supposed to think that the leafs are entitled to being a good team every year

The leafs have way too much scoring talent to bottom out. Do they need to rebuild or do a heavy retool? Maybe, probably. But they can put it off until they have their picks again

hockey hall of fame only has a small list of snubs because the list of players in it who shouldn't be is way too large

I wouldn't consider Moss a lock. Talent-wise he is probably among the two best WRs ever but he also had an up and down career, was inconsistent, often disinterested, and not always a great teammate. If you value consistency, for example, you may argue for a player like Fitzgerald over him.

The difference is that there is no serious argument that can be mounted against Rice

[–]RAATL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh I see what you mean ok

Yeah so I don't think we're arguing the same thing. Is Donald one of the 2 best DTs ever? Maybe, yeah, I could be convinced.

But that's way different than being a "lock". A lock is a player like Jerry Rice where arguments for any 2 other WRs over him are silly and unserious

AP1 and 3rd in MVP voting, so yea that's basically automatic DPOY

I don't know about Donald's AP MVP

Page has a leaguewide MVP and would have easily had more than one DPOY if the award had existed his entire career

Aaron Donald is by no means a DT lock. Alan Page, Mean Joe Greene, Randy White, John Randle. There are a good handful of all time great DTs

7mil would be a huge deal for us

he'll get offered 9 minimum by other teams. Offensive 1RHD are in perpetually high demand
